Egy olyan emberrel kapcsolatot vettünk fel közösségi média útján, aki meg talált egy Suertét elszigetelt állapotban és eddig etette és otthont adott egy Padel pályán belül. Már sikerült elvinni a háziorvosahez, ahol meghatározták, hogy Leishmania fertőzésben szenved, és kértek minket, hogy segítsünk neki. Már jól érezte magát velük, örömére volt, ha megmasszírozták, viselt pótost és vezetőket stb., ezért könnyen el tudta vinni egyik menhelyünkre. Most már egy hónapja van ott, és nagyon jól halad. Barátságos más kutyaállatokkal, szeret játsszani velük, és nagyon jó az emberekkel is. Nagyon szeretetteljes, szeret csókolgatni és figyelmesebb lenni. Valóban kedves minden oldalról, és sok otthonban is jól érezheti magát. Gondoljuk, hogy ideális kandidátus lenne egy gyermekkel rendelkező család számára. Nem volt kutyatesztelve, de ezt el lehet intézni. Csak kevés követelménye van, kivéve egy otthon, ahol jobban ismerik a Leisht. Jelenleg egy gondozó otthonban van Spanyolországban, miközben első kezelést kap a Leish-hoz, és nagyon jól halad. Hozzászokott a lakásban jelentkező új látványokhoz és hangokhoz, és jól beilleszkedett. Jól sétál a vezetőn és jól utazik a kocsiban. Suerte sterilizált, védőoltásra került, és negatív eredménnyel rendelkezik minden közép-európai betegségre, kivéve a Leisht – amint fentebb említették, pozitív lett, és kezelés alatt áll. We were contacted on social media by someone who had found Suerte straying and had been feeding her and given her shelter inside a Padel court. They had already managed to get her to a vet and had determined that she has Leishmania and they asked us to step in to help her. Suerte has shown from day one that she wants to trust people. She was calm and easy to handle on rescue, happily accepting a harness and lead. When she arrived at the shelter, she needed a period of treatment for Leishmania, so a wonderful foster family stepped in and supported her through this. She has since returned to the shelter she enjoys the company of other dogs and loves playing with her kennel friends, though large groups can sometimes overwhelm her. Her love for people is constant. Suerte adores affection, follows volunteers around for cuddles and ear scratches, and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She would make a lovely family companion and is likely to do well with respectful children. She has not yet been cat tested, but this can be arranged. Suerte walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys her twice‑weekly outings. Heavy vehicles can occasionally startle her, but she generally copes well with traffic, new places, and the excitement of exploring. Her only ongoing need is a home that’s comfortable managing her Leishmania with routine monitoring and care. With this in place, dogs like Suerte can enjoy long, happy, healthy lives — and she’s more than ready for a family to call her own. Suerte will be neutered, is vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases excluding Leish - as already stated she has tested positive and is receiving treatment.
