Who has suffered in life... who has faced a serious illness, difficult treatments, pains that seem to have no end... knows. They know what it is to fight every day. They know what it is not to give up. Paulinha knows this. She was found on the street and shortly after came the diagnosis no one wants to hear: tumors. One of them, in the nose, turned out to be squamous cell carcinoma, a skin cancer. She was operated on. She fought. She survived. She also had mammary nodules, which fortunately were benign. Today, Paulinha is here. Alive. Sweet. Wanting to love. But life left its marks. Her nose will never be "perfect" again. And there are those who seek perfection... But we ask: does an animal that suffered, that fought, that won... deserve less love for that? Paulinha does need care, yes. She has elevated kidney values, takes a daily pill and a supplement. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing that prevents a happy life. What she really needs... is someone. Because this girl doesn't like being alone. She cries. She looks for. She follows us through the house. She's a true "dog in the form of a cat". She just wants a cuddle, company, presence. She just wants to belong. She is in foster care, waiting... waiting for that special person who doesn't see scars as defects, but as proof of courage. Waiting for someone who chooses to love... even when it's not "perfect". Over the years, we've met people like this. Incredible people. People who adopted sick, special, different animals... And who today tell us they were the best companions they ever had. We believe that person exists for Paulinha. And that this appeal will reach her. Look closely into these eyes... she just wants a chance. A home. A cuddle. A life with love. She will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, with a microchip and Fiv and Felv negative.

Quem já sofreu na vida… quem já enfrentou uma doença grave, tratamentos difíceis, dores que parecem não ter fim… sabe. Sabe o que é lutar todos os dias. Sabe o que é não desistir. A Paulinha sabe disso. Foi encontrada na rua e, pouco depois, veio o diagnóstico que ninguém quer ouvir: tumores. Um deles, no nariz, revelou ser um carcinoma das células escamosas, um cancro de pele. Foi operada. Lutou. Sobreviveu. Tinha também nódulos mamários, que felizmente eram benignos. Hoje, a Paulinha está aqui. Viva. Doce. A querer amar. Mas a vida deixou marcas. O seu nariz nunca mais será “perfeito”. E há quem procure perfeição… Mas nós perguntamos: será que um animal que sofreu, que lutou, que venceu… merece menos amor por isso? A Paulinha precisa de acompanhamento, sim. Tem valores renais mais elevados, toma um comprimido diário e um suplemento. Nada de extraordinário. Nada que impeça uma vida feliz. O que ela precisa mesmo… é de alguém. Porque esta menina não gosta de estar sozinha. Chora. Procura. Segue-nos pela casa. É um verdadeiro “cão em forma de gato”. Só quer colo, companhia, presença. Só quer pertencer. Está em família de acolhimento, à espera… À espera daquela pessoa especial que não vê cicatrizes como defeitos, mas como provas de coragem. À espera de alguém que escolha amar… mesmo quando não é “perfeito”. Ao longo dos anos, cruzámo-nos com pessoas assim. Pessoas incríveis. Pessoas que adotaram animais doentes, especiais, diferentes… E que hoje nos dizem que foram os melhores companheiros que alguma vez tiveram. Nós acreditamos que essa pessoa existe para a Paulinha. E que este apelo vai chegar até ela. Olhem bem para estes olhos… ela só quer uma oportunidade. Uma casa. Um colo. Uma vida com amor. Será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada, com microchip e Fiv e Felv negativo.
