Vénus egy nagyon félséges lány, aki tőlünk érkezett egy tenyésztőtől, hogy megtalálja az otthonát. Amikor először érkezett, annyira aggasztotta, hogy elmenekült és elrejtőzött, amikor minket látott, de most lassan, de biztosan halad. Venus is a timid girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived, she was so worried that she would run away and hide when she saw us, but she has started to make slow but steady progress. She spent quite a few months in kennels, slowly settling in and starting to learn all about her new life, but she has now moved to a wonderful foster home and has been getting to experience life in a home for the very first time. Initially she was very worried about humans, but as she has settled in she has started to become more comfortable around humans and is even fine with strangers visiting the home. She has started to feel brave enough to come forward to collect a treat from in front you. She is still scared of hands and is very worried about handling and finds this quite stressful at the moment, but this is something her fosterer will work on getting her used to. Venus will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home and would need adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and who will allow her to settle in at her own pace without any pressure or expectations. She relies heavily on other dogs for comfort and reassurance and will be looking for a multi dog home with confident resident dogs to be her friend and companion and take her under their wing. She gets on well with all dogs, but tends to gravitate towards younger male dogs and bigger dogs. She cannot cope without the company of another dog and as she isn't walking on a lead yet, she will need to always have a dog home with her, while the other dog/s are out on walks. Venus had never lived in a home before moving to foster, but she has taken to home life very well and is now house trained and sleeps quietly all night on her fosterers bed. She doesn't walk on a lead or harness just yet, but she has visited a secure field, which she thoroughly enjoyed and this will hopefully help her progress. When she's ready, she will need to start by wearing a harness around the home and garden, before progressing to walking on a lead around the garden. Venus' journey may not be a quick one, but it will be so rewarding when you see her reach new milestones like wagging her tail for the first time and in the right home, she will truly blossom. Venus has been treated for sore ears and she has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
