Wafelek is a tiny senior dog who desperately needs a calm, understanding home. He's very light and fragile, having lived independently his whole life. He shows signs of dementia - sometimes drifting into his quiet world, standing motionless and thoughtful. However, he still responds to humans, approaches when gently touched, snuggles into hands, and quietly enjoys seeing his food bowl. He loves walks and surprises with his energetic step. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, doesn't seek conflicts or dominate, preferring to keep to himself. He needs quiet, predictability, and someone who will lovingly accept his pace. His coat condition suggests he never lived in a home before. This adoption requires someone experienced with senior dementia care, ready for nighttime needs and moments of disorientation, where patience and understanding are key.
