Rocky è un giovane incrocio Akita con un amore per l'avventura. Ha avuto un inizio instabile nella vita, ma sotto la sua esterna leggermente incerta si nasconde un compagno affettuoso che aspetta solo di trovare un posto e delle persone che possa finalmente chiamare propri. Rocky è un ragazzo attivo e curioso che è più felice quando ha qualcosa da fare. Adora uscire e girare, soprattutto per passeggiate in aree boschive dove può godersi tutti i panorami e gli odori. Sarebbe adatto a una casa all'aperto dove potrà partecipare a tante avventure e avere spazio per stirare le gambe. Essendo un cane giovane che sta ancora imparando il mondo, Rocky può trovare difficile rilassarsi quando è noioso o lasciato solo. Avrà bisogno di una casa dove qualcuno sia presente per la maggior parte della giornata e dove il tempo passato da solo possa essere aumentato gradualmente. Attività di arricchimento, giochi di addestramento e giocattoli puzzle aiuteranno a tenere occupata la sua mente brillante. Per quanto riguarda la creazione di nuove amicizie, Rocky può essere un po' cauto all'inizio. Avrà bisogno di proprietari pazienti disposti a visitare alcune volte per costruire un legame prima che vada a casa, e per presentare nuove persone gradualmente una volta che si è stabilito. In giro per le passeggiate, apprezza la compagnia di cani calmi e amichevoli, ma può sentirsi sopraffatto se altri cani corrono verso di lui, quindi aree per passeggiate più tranquille sarebbero ideali per lui. Rocky is a handsome young Akita cross with a love for adventure. He’s had an unsettled start to life, but beneath his slightly unsure exterior lies a loving companion who’s just waiting to find a place, and people he can finally call his own. Rocky is an active, curious boy who’s happiest when he has something to do. He loves getting out and about, especially for woodland walks where he can take in all the sights and smells. He would suit an outdoorsy home where he can join in on plenty of adventures and have space to stretch his legs. As a young dog still learning about the world, Rocky can find it difficult to relax when he’s bored or left alone. He’ll need a home where someone is around for most of the day, and where his time being left can be built up gradually. Enrichment activities, training games, and puzzle toys will help keep his bright mind busy and happy. When it comes to making new friends, Rocky can be a little cautious at first. He’ll need patient owners willing to visit a few times to build a bond before he goes home, and to introduce new people slowly once he’s settled. Out on walks, he enjoys the company of calm, friendly dogs but can feel overwhelmed if other dogs rush up to him - so quieter walking areas would suit him best. Rocky is looking for an adult-only home with calm, understanding people who can offer him the stability, patience, and reassurance he needs. “Rocky has been fostered by us for about a month now, every day his true personality is revealing itself as he becomes bonded with us and confident in our home.
