I am Jade. My day really starts when you wake up. I sit behind the door like a faithful little dog, waiting for the day to begin. And as soon as I see you? Rrrr... My purring engine starts at full volume! Attention? Yes, please! As soon as you sit down, I climb up onto your lap, loudly purring for a big dose of cuddles. Besides being a huge cuddle-bug, I'm also a true optimist and an adventurer. Can't sit still? No way! I'm the best climber, love games, and find absolutely everything fascinating (warning: keep an eye on your houseplants 😉). I love playing with other kittens around the house, but I also have a great time on my own. I quickly became best friends with the old dog in the foster home, and I also find the adult cats super fun — although sometimes they give me a little scolding when I'm being too enthusiastic. When new people come over, I watch from a distance (or a safe distance). But as soon as it's quiet, I come over to see who my new admirer is. Hallo daar! Ik ben Jade. Mijn dag begint pas écht als jij wakker wordt. Ik zit ‘s ochtends al als een trouw steigertje achter de deur te wachten tot de dag begint. En zodra ik je zie? Rrrr… Dan gaat mijn spinnermotor op vol volume aan! Aandacht? Ja graag! Zodra je ergens gaat zitten, kom ik luid spinnend op je schoot geklommen voor een flinke dosis knuffels. Naast een enorme knuffelkont ben ik ook een rasoptimist en een echte avonturier. Stilzitten? Welnee! Ik klim als de beste, ben dol op spelletjes en vind werkelijk álles boeiend (waarschuwing: houd je kamerplanten maar goed in de gaten 😉). Met andere kittens ras ik graag door het huis, maar ook in mijn eentje vermaak ik me kostelijk. Met de oude hond in het gastgezin was ik binnen no-time dikke maatjes, en ook de volwassen katten vind ik reuze gezellig — al krijg ik van hen soms een klein standje als ik iets té enthousiast ben. Als er nieuwe mensen op bezoek komen, bekijk ik de kat uit de boom (of vanaf een veilig afstandje). Maar zodra het rustig is, kom ik al snel kijken wie mijn nieuwe bewonderaar is.
