Hello there! Are you looking for a companion with character? Then I'm your bird! I'm Milaan, a lovebird, and as you can see, I always have my own 'antenna' with me: my beautiful crest. You can actually tell exactly how I'm feeling from it. Is it standing straight up? Then I'm super curious! I'm an incredibly social type. We lovebird parrots are real group animals. But I'm just not finding anything, I really need a kindred spirit to whistle with, chatter with, and scratch each other's heads. So I'm looking for a place where I can live with a buddy, or where another lovebird is already waiting for me. Soar and scurryAlthough a spacious cage is a nice home, I'm a real flyer. I'd love to be able to stretch my wings and fly a little every day in a safe room. That keeps me fit and happy! Additionally, I'm a huge fan of 'scurrying'. Give me some willow branches or wooden toys and I'll be content for hours. That's my perfect workout. What's on the menu?I love a good mix of seeds or pellets, but I really get excited about some variety. A piece of veggies, some fruit, or an occasional unseasoned cooked spaghetti strand? Yum! I'm a smart bird and if you have a little patience with me, we can become the best buddies. Some of us can even learn to whistle tunes! Hoi daar! Ben je op zoek naar een maatje met karakter? Dan ben ik je vogel! Ik ben Milaan, een valkparkiet en zoals je ziet, heb ik altijd mijn eigen ‘antenne’ bij me: mijn prachtige kuif. Daaraan kun je trouwens precies zien hoe ik me voel. Staat hij recht overeind? Dan ben ik super nieuwsgierig! Ik ben een ontzettend sociaal type. Wij valkparkieten zijn echte groepsdieren. Alleen zijn vind ik maar niks, ik heb echt een soortgenootje nodig om mee te fluiten, te kwebbelen en elkaars kopjes te krabben. Ik zoek dus een plekje waar ik samen met een vriendje mag wonen, of waar al een ander valkparkietje op mij zit te wachten. Lekker vliegen en slopenHoewel een ruime kooi een fijn honk is, ben ik een echte vlieger. Ik wil dus dolgraag elke dag even mijn vleugels uitslaan in een veilige kamer. Dat houdt me fit en vrolijk! Daarnaast ben ik een enorme fan van ‘slopen’. Geef me wat wilgentakken of houten speeltjes en ik ben uren zoet. Dat is voor mij de perfecte workout. Wat staat er op het menu?Ik hou van een goede mix van zaden of pellets, maar ik word pas écht blij van wat variatie. Een stukje groente, wat fruit of af en toe een sliertje ongezouten gekookte spaghetti? Heerlijk! Ik ben een slimme vogel en als je wat geduld met me hebt, kunnen we de beste maatjes worden.
