Together with my siblings, I roamed around Kuchl and got to know the great adventure that is life—well, at least until we were fortunately taken in by Silvia. For the past two weeks, she’s cared for us with such love and showed us that people can actually be pretty wonderful. While my siblings are still staying with her for a bit longer, I’ve already moved into the cat house at the Hallein animal shelter. There’s definitely something going on here! Everywhere there are new feline friends, exciting toys, cozy little spots—and of course, plenty of mischief to get up to together. I’m sure I’ll never get bored here—but of course, I’d still love to have my own home. My age is estimated to be about 4 to 5 months. Of course, no one knows exactly, since we can only guess about my past. But what I do know is that I’ve now been dewormed, chipped, and am in perfect health. The two-legged folks here say I’m a really gentle soul—I’m friendly, cuddly, and approach people openly. Cuddling is at least as exciting for me as playing—and if I can combine the two, all the better. I also get along wonderfully with other cats. Zooming around together, wrestling, playing, and then snuggling up and sleeping peacefully—all together—that’s exactly how I imagine a cat’s life should be. Of course, I also have a good dose of curiosity inside me. There’s still so much to discover—I want to explore the world and share many wonderful moments with my humans. I’ll need just a little bit of patience, though, because as a found animal, I first have to wait out the legally required waiting period. But I thought to myself: Why wait until then to start looking for my forever home?

Die Gemeinsam mit meinen Geschwistern bin ich in Kuchl herumgestreunt und habe das große Abenteuer Leben kennengelernt – zumindest so lange, bis wir zum Glück von Silvia gesichert wurden. Sie hat sich die letzten zwei Wochen ganz liebevoll um uns gekümmert und uns gezeigt, dass Menschen eigentlich ziemlich toll sein können. Während meine Geschwister noch ein bisschen bei ihr bleiben, bin ich schon ins Katzenhaus des Tierheims Hallein umgezogen. Hier ist vielleicht was los! Überall gibt es neue Katzenfreunde, spannende Spielsachen, kuschelige Plätzchen und natürlich jede Menge Unsinn, den man gemeinsam anstellen kann. Langweilig wird mir hier ganz bestimmt nicht – trotzdem wünsche ich mir natürlich mein eigenes Zuhause. Mein Alter wird auf etwa 4 bis 5 Monate geschätzt. So genau weiß das natürlich niemand, denn über meine Vergangenheit können wir nur rätseln. Dafür weiß ich aber, dass ich inzwischen entwurmt, gechippt und kerngesund bin. Die Zweibeiner hier sagen, ich wäre eine ganz sanfte Seele, ich bin freundlich, verschmust und gehe offen auf Menschen zu. Kuscheln finde ich mindestens genauso spannend wie Spielen – und wenn sich beides kombinieren lässt, umso besser. Mit anderen Katzen verstehe ich mich ebenfalls prima. Gemeinsam flitzen, raufen, spielen und danach gemütlich zusammen schlafen – genau so stelle ich mir das Katzenleben vor. Natürlich steckt in mir auch eine ordentliche Portion Neugier. Es gibt noch so viel zu entdecken - ich möchte die Welt erkunden und mit meinen Menschen viele schöne Momente erleben. Ein kleines bisschen Geduld brauche ich allerdings noch, da ich ein Fundtier bin, muss zuerst die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Frist abgewartet werden, aber ich dachte mir, warum erst danach mit der Suche nach meinem Zuhause anfangen?
