La brava Bea è una femmina di 9 anni di razza incrociata che si trova presso Sadies Dog Rescue nei loro canili nello Shropshire. È disponibile per l'affidamento o l'adozione poiché le piacerebbe essere in una bella casa calda. Bea vuole essere l'unico animale domestico in casa. Ha vissuto con un altro cane in precedenza ma è molto esigente e vuole assolutamente avere i suoi padroni. Non tollera i gatti e desidera una casa per adulti per avere la massima tranquillità e attenzione. Bea ha bisogno solo di brevi passeggiate. Ha le zampe corte, come un Corgie, quindi anche una breve passeggiata le sembra lunga. È generalmente brava al guinzaglio ma può essere forte a volte. È una ragazza robusta di circa 20 kg... …e quindi meravigliosa per le coccole, con i suoi padroni di fiducia. Preferisce passeggiate che evitino per lo più altri cani poiché può essere reattiva/protettiva con quelli sconosciuti. Questo è migliorato da quando è entrata in rifugio ma una passeggiata tranquilla è sempre la migliore. Bea può essere diffidente verso gli sconosciuti all'inizio, specialmente gli uomini. Una volta che si scalda con le persone, è adorabile. Ha trascorso la prima metà della sua vita come un animale domestico amato prima che la sua famiglia fosse costretta a lasciarla, quindi ricorda di avere una vita da cane e comfort domestici. Le piacerebbe trascorrere la maggior parte del suo tempo accoccolata con i suoi padroni e ricevere coccole. ‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME. Good Girl Bea is a 9-year-old Crossbreed in the care of Sadies Dog Rescue at their kennels in Shropshire. She's available to either foster or adopt as she'd love to be in a nice warm home again. Bea wants to be the only pet at home. She has previously lived with another dog but she's very choosy and definitely wants to have her people to herself. Cats are a no thank you too and she'd wants an adult-only home for maximum peace and attention. Bea only needs short walks. She has very short legs, like a Corgi, so even a short walk feels long enough to her! She's generally good on the lead but can be strong occasionally. She's a sturdy girl of about 20kg… …and therefore wonderful for cuddles, with her trusted people. She prefers walks which mostly avoid other dogs as she can be reactive/protective with unknown ones. This has improved since she first came into rescue but a peaceful walkies is always best. Bea can be wary of strangers at first, especially men. Once she warms up to people, she's as soppy as can be. She spent the first half of her life as a cherished pet before her family had to give her up, so she remembers having a proper doggy lifestyle and home comforts. She would happily spend most of her time snuggled up with her people and getting belly rubs.
