Bella è un piccolo mix di terrier di 9 anni che potrebbe essere un ottimo compagno in una casa più tranquilla. Per quanto riguarda la sua storia, sappiamo che fino a circa 4 mesi fa era posseduta da un anziano signore che non poteva tenerla. Un'altra persona l'ha presa ma Bella non si è abituata al suo cane, quindi ora Bella è qui con noi. Nei primi giorni qui, Bella era un po' riservata con il team e i volontari e non era sicura del contatto. Abbiamo visto una grande differenza solo in poche settimane - sta diventando molto più rilassata ed espressiva - cerca attenzione, sale sulle nostre gambe! Bella ha ancora tanta energia nel passo. Le piace andare in guida e fare passeggiate, le piace mordere i giocattoli o inseguire le palline - ma non le riporta indietro! La portiamo a spasso con altri cani qui e condivide un recinto con un altro cane, ma Bella probabilmente farà meglio come cane unico. Un padrone che le darà alcuni giorni per abituarsi in una nuova casa e un po' di spazio per guadagnare la sua fiducia, sarà ricompensato con un compagno divertente e felice. Un giardino sicuro è indispensabile e idealmente non troppe uscite.

Bella is a dinky 9 year old terrier mix who would make a great companion pet in a quieter home. In terms of a history, we know that up to about 4 months ago she was owned by an older gentleman who could not keep her. Another person took her but Bella didn’t gel with her own dog, so now Bella is here with us. For her first days here, Bella was a bit wary of the team and volunteers and was unsure about handling. We have seen such a difference in just a couple of weeks – she is becoming much more relaxed and expressive – looking for attention, climbing up on our laps! Bella has plenty of pep in her step still. She loves going on lead and taking walks, she loves chewing on toys or chasing after balls – but not bringing them back! We walk her with dogs here and she shares a kennel with another dog, but Bella will likely do best as a single dog. An owner who will give her a few days to find her feet in a new home and a bit of space to win her trust, will be rewarded with a fun, happy companion. A secure garden is a must and ideally not too many leaving hours.
