Bella è originariamente arrivata nel Regno Unito da un rifugio in Romania, con sua sorella Sahsa al suo fianco per tutto il viaggio. Questi rifugi pubblici in Romania sono estremamente sovraffollati, molto poveri di fondi per il cibo, i cani hanno appena poco riparo dal clima severo e purtroppo gli attacchi ai cani stanno diventando sempre più frequenti. Questi due cuccioli non avrebbero avuto alcuna possibilità se fossero rimasti molto più a lungo. Da quando è arrivata da noi Bella ha dimostrato di essere l'anima più dolce. È la più silenziosa di tutti i cuccioli che abbiamo attualmente in rifugio ma è molto dolce e affettuosa, adora il tempo 1:1 con i nostri volontari. Bella ci ha mostrato che è ottima con altri cani e possiamo mescolarla con tutti i nostri cani amichevoli senza problemi. Bella ha mostrato molti segni di conflitto durante il test con i gatti. Lo faremo nuovamente una seconda volta quando avremo più tempo per farli stare insieme 1:1. Bella è ancora solo un bebè, attualmente mostra livelli di energia moderati ma ha recentemente iniziato a uscire a passeggio che ama molto. Bella non è mai stata lasciata sola totalmente in tutta la sua vita poiché è sempre stata in compagnia di altri cani. C'è la possibilità che Bella possa soffrire di ansia da separazione fino a quando non si abituerà a stare sola, questo dovrà essere affrontato e costruito gradualmente. Bella ha recentemente iniziato l'addestramento al guinzaglio e lo adora. Bella non ha alcun tipo di addestramento base. Avrà anche bisogno di addestramento per l'igiene nella sua nuova casa.

Bella originally travelled to the UK from a shelter in Romania, with her sister Sahsa by her side the whole way. These public shelters in Romania are extremely overcrowded, very short on funds for food, the dogs have barely any shelter from the harsh weathers and sadly dog attacks are becoming more and more regular. These 2 babies wouldn't have stood a chance if they'd have stayed much longer. Since arriving with us Bella has shown to be the most gentle of souls. She is the quietest of all of the youngsters that we currently have in but she's very sweet and loving, she adores her 1-1 time with our volunteers. Bella's journey from the public shelters in Romania, the 3 day drive to the UK and her time at Oakwood, has all been right beside her sister Sasha. They really do love each other so much and it would be the most amazing happy ending for these girls to be adopted together. We realise that this is a big ask though and so we are also open to the option of them being adopted seperately to at give them a bigger chance of finding their forever homes. Bella has shown us that she is great with other dogs and we can mix her with all of our dog friendly dogs with no issues at all. Bella was cat tested for a second time due to a lot of avoidance the first time and her sister being with her. Upon the 2nd cat test, she was able to be off lead however, she was truly terrified of the cat. She was visibly shaking and avoiding eye contact at all costs. She didn't show any prey drive so with very slow and steady interactions, we believe that she'd be ok to live with a cat in the home. Bella is still just a baby, she currently shows moderate energy levels but she has recently started going out on walks which she is absolutely loving Bella has never in her life been left fully alone as she's always had the company of other dogs. There's a possibility that Bella could suffer with superation anxiety until she gets used to being alone, this will need to be worked on and built up slowly Bella has recently started lead training and is absolutely loving it Bella has no form of basic training. She will also need toilet training in her new home
