Nata intorno al mese di maggio 2024, bella Betty è una cagnetta giocosa con un occhio solo che pesa 26 kg. È sterilizzata ed è attualmente in un rifugio privato in Grecia. Nonostante la sua giovane età ha già una storia da raccontare. Ha vissuto nelle miniere ed è stata l'unica cucciola sopravvissuta della sua cucciolata. A soli 5 mesi è stata attaccata da altri cani e il suo occhio sinistro è stato morso e si è infettato. Nonostante abbia ricevuto trattamenti veterinari, l'occhio è dovuto essere rimosso. Betty si è ripresa dalla sua ferita ed è una cagnetta felice. È piena di divertimento, energia e vivacità come qualsiasi altro cane giovane e ora deve trovare la sua famiglia per condividere tutto il suo amore. Con il suo pelo dorato, la coda che scodinzola e le sue dolci zampe bianche, Betty è semplicemente bellissima. È una ragazza amichevole, che va d'accordo con persone e cani. Betty ha incontrato i gatti nel rifugio e non mostra interesse per loro, quindi dovrebbe poter convivere con i gatti con introduzioni ragionevoli. Betty è abituata a indossare un collare e è stata introdotta alla guida, ma potrebbe aver bisogno di ulteriore addestramento in questo settore. È intelligente, curiosa e ama le ricompense, quindi dovrebbe essere facile da addestrare. Betty è pronta a imparare tutto sul vivere in un ambiente domestico e diventare un cane da famiglia.

Born around May 2024, beautiful Betty is a one-eyed playful girl weighing 26kg and currently in foster in York. Despite her young age she already has a story to tell. She was born in the mines of Greece and was the only surviving puppy of her litter. At just 5 months old she was attacked by other dogs and her left eye was bitten and became infected. Despite receiving veterinary treatment her eye had to be removed. Betty has bounced back from her injury and is a happy girl. She’s full of fun, energy and playfulness just like any other young dog and now needs to find her own forever family to share all her love with. With her golden coat, wagging tail and her sweet white paws, Betty is just gorgeous. She’s a friendly girl who is good with people and dogs. Betty has met cats at the Greek shelter and shows no interest in them, so should be able to live with cats with sensible introductions. Betty is intelligent, inquisitive and loves a treat so should be easy to train.
