Despite her impressive size, Betty is generally a calm, low-energy girl who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She settles well indoors, enjoys spending time in home-style environments, and is more than happy to snooze the day away after a gentle walk. She walks beautifully on lead and is surprisingly manageable for such a large breed, making her a pleasure to take out and about with the right handling. Betty is still learning how to navigate social situations with other dogs, but with continued support from experienced owners and potentially a behaviour professional, she may continue to make progress in this area. When out and about on walks, she has already shown to be very responsive to her handlers and can easily disengage from what’s going on around her to focus on her people!
