Bursztynka is one of those cats that don’t ask for attention – she avoids them with a wide berth. She came to us from the town of Nekla and from the very beginning, it was clear that for her, a human is still a mystery and a bit of a source of unease. At the sight of people, she vanishes without a sound into the darkest corners. There she feels safe, waiting it out. She only emerges when the world grows quiet and there’s no one around – then she begins her small, nighttime life. Bursztynka is a wild cat, untaught by human life. She doesn’t know touch, doesn’t understand our intentions, and doesn’t yet know that a hand can be comforting, not just a source of disturbance. She’s a cat that needs to be taught everything – from the basics. Patiently, calmly, without expectations and without hurry. We’re looking for a special home for her – one that will accept her as she is now. Perhaps she will never be a typical “couch potato.” Maybe, step by step, she will begin to open up. This can’t be promised – but we can try. If you have the patience, the calmness, and the readiness to give space to a cat that still doesn’t trust the world – Bursztynka is waiting for you.

Bursztynka to kotka z tych, które nie proszą o uwagę - ona ją omija szerokim łukiem. Przyjechała do nas z gminy Nekla i od pierwszych chwil jasno pokazała, że człowiek to dla niej wciąż zagadka, a trochę też powód do niepokoju. Na widok ludzi znika bezszelestnie w najciemniejszych zakamarkach. Tam czuje się bezpieczna, tam przeczekuje. Wychodzi dopiero wtedy, gdy świat cichnie i nie ma wokół nikogo - wtedy zaczyna się jej małe, nocne życie. Bursztynka to kotka dzika, nienauczona życia przy człowieku. Nie zna dotyku, nie rozumie naszych intencji, nie wie jeszcze, że ręka może głaskać, a nie tylko niepokoić. To kot, którego trzeba nauczyć wszystkiego - od podstaw. Cierpliwie, spokojnie, bez oczekiwań i bez pośpiechu. Szukamy dla niej domu wyjątkowego - takiego, który zaakceptuje ją taką, jaka jest teraz. Być może nigdy nie będzie typowym „kanapowcem”. A może kiedyś, małymi krokami, zacznie się otwierać. Tego nie da się obiecać - ale można spróbować. Jeśli masz w sobie cierpliwość, spokój i gotowość, by dać przestrzeń kotu, który jeszcze nie ufa światu - Bursztynka czeka właśnie na Ciebie.
