Caleb è stato trovato insieme a una femmina del tipo Mastin e diversi fratellini, quindi assumiamo che la madre sia la dolce Mastin e Caleb il padre e i fratellini i loro cuccioli, uno di loro Cosmo che si trova anche lui nel rifugio. Caleb è un bel cane meticciato maschio, con un occhio blu, un occhio marrone e un bellissimo pelo bianco-grigio. Caleb proviene da una situazione difficile, essendo stato legato in un cortile abbandonato, quindi la vita nel rifugio è un po' migliore rispetto al suo passato, ma lontana da ciò di cui ha davvero bisogno: una persona esperta con cani, con cui può lasciarsi alle spalle la prigione e iniziare una nuova vita. Nonostante il suo passato, Caleb è un ragazzo allegro, pieno di sole e buone energie! Si siede per le ricompense come un vero bravo ragazzo, cammina bene accanto a te e ti travolge con le coccole non appena apri le braccia. Caleb cammina bene al guinzaglio ora, anche se all'inizio tirava, probabilmente perché non era mai andato a passeggio correttamente prima, e ovviamente per tutta l'energia che aveva e dove metterla. Caleb ama molto stare vicino agli umani e averne contatto fisico! Ha ancora bisogno di imparare alcune buone maniere e limiti, ad esempio quando i suoi baci sono un po' troppi, o che non deve mettere le zampe per le coccole a ogni persona che incontra. Tuttavia Caleb è molto motivato dal cibo e intelligente, quindi impara molto velocemente e sarà uno studente A+ in breve tempo! Al momento Caleb è ancora reattivo verso altri cani, quindi l'ambiente del rifugio è molto stressante e scatenante per lui. Cerca una famiglia comprensiva, una persona che accetti che possa essere reattivo verso alcuni altri cani, ad esempio maschi dominanti, che gli offra l'addestramento e la guida necessari per rilassarsi nella vicinanza di cani che non gradisce. In Spagna Caleb potrebbe vivere insieme a una femmina socievole o a un maschio sottomesso, a condizione che le riunioni vengano effettuate dal team del rifugio. Per adozioni internazionali, Caleb al momento cerca una casa come cane unico, in un quartiere tranquillo e non affollato da tanti altri cani. La sua altezza alle spalle è 58 cm.

Caleb was found together with a mastin-type female and several young siblings, so we're assuming that the mother is the sweet Mastin girl, Caleb the father and the siblings their puppies, one of them Cosmo who is also in the shelter. Caleb is a beautiful mixed breed boy, with one blue eye, one brown eye and a beautiful white-grey coat. Caleb is coming from a bad situation, of being chained up in an abandoned backyard, so life in the shelter is a tiny bit better than his past, but far from what he really needs - a dog-experienced human, with who he can leave confinement behind him, and start a fresh new life. Regardless of his past, Caleb is such a cheerful boy, full of sunshine and happy vibes! He sits for treats like a really good boy, walks nicely by your side, and runs you over with cuddles as soon as you open your arms. Caleb walks well on the leash now, even though in the beginning he was pulling, most likely due to never having walked on a leash properly before, and of course from having all the energy and nowhere to put it. Caleb really loves to be around humans, and to be in physical contact! He still needs to learn some manners and boundaries, like for example when his kisses are a bit too much, or that he should not put up his paws for cuddles at every person he meets. However, Caleb is very food-motivated and smart, so he learns super quickly, and he will be an A+ student in no time! At the moment Caleb is still at times reactive to other dogs, so the shelter environment is very stressful and triggering for him. He is looking for an understanding family, a human that will accept that he can be reactive towards selected other dogs, like dominant males, who will offer him the training and guidance he needs, to become more relaxed in the vicinity of dogs he does not like. In Spain, Caleb could potentially live together with a social female or submissive male, on the condition that the meetings are carried out by the shelter team. For international adoptions, Caleb is at the moment looking for a home as a single dog, in an easygoing, calm neighborhood which is not crowded with other dogs. His shoulder height is 58cm.
