Cera e suo fratello Petrie sono stati trovati in strada, senza microchip, ma non erano in cattive condizioni, quindi sicuramente non erano in strada da molto tempo. Pensiamo che il cane non castrato di qualcuno abbia avuto una cucciolata di cuccioli, all'inizio erano carini e forse la famiglia si è divertita a tenerli intorno, ma poi sono cresciuti e non erano più così carini. Un altro cane giovane molto simile è stato trovato alcuni giorni dopo nella stessa area, quindi pensiamo che ce ne fossero almeno 3. Cera e suo fratello Petrie si sono uniti a diversi gruppi di cani nel rifugio, poiché Petrie è un ragazzo più dolce, mentre Cera è una femmina più combattiva, che beneficia di un gruppo con cani adulti leader. Cera è un incrocio tra un pastore tedesco e un cane giovane, una teenager ad alta energia che ora è in un gruppo sociale con altri cani per imparare da loro, poiché abbiamo velocemente notato che ha bisogno di sviluppare le competenze sociali e ha paura degli altri cani quando li incontra e interagisce con loro, non sapendo come comunicare, allora abbaia agli altri cani. Ora è sistemata in questo gruppo e continua a incontrare nuovi cani per migliorare la sua socializzazione e i limiti. Sta crescendo diventando una ragazza ben istruita. Come qualsiasi cucciolo di pastore, è un po' un coccodrillo, ma sta imparando ad ascoltare e rispettare cani e persone. Cera impara molto velocemente e ama l'addestramento e imparare cose nuove. Cerca un umano che sia molto interessato all'addestramento dei cani, obbedienza, agility, sessioni di addestramento in gruppo. Quando la lasciamo senza guinzaglio negli spazi recintati, corre e corre per sfogare tutta la sua energia, e ama quando gli altri cani la inseguono. Le piace anche salire sugli ostacoli dell'agility e desidera molto impegnarsi nello sport canino per liberare la sua energia in modo positivo e produttivo. Quando il suo addestratore l'ha portata fuori per la giornata, si è comportata molto bene in auto, è rimasta nella gabbietta di trasporto mordicchiando il premio senza fare rumore e ha camminato molto bene al guinzaglio. È rimasta molto collegata a lei e ha ascoltato molto bene anche se era in un ambiente nuovo con molti cani. Ha bisogno solo di una persona sicura e abbastanza esperta, o di un essere umano che voglia imparare il proprio modo di entrare nel mondo dei cani con Cera accanto. Per Cera, cerchiamo una casa con proprietari esperti di cani, pronti ad affrontare questa sfida, per qualche addestramento e per divertirsi con questa bella ragazza, non vi annoierete mai con lei! Un giardino sarebbe ideale. Potrebbe essere l'unico cane se avesse contatti regolari con altri cani (cani della famiglia, scuole di addestramento, gruppi sociali..), oppure potrebbe unirsi a una casa dove è già presente un cane educatore adulto e equilibrato. Se nella famiglia ci sono bambini, dovranno avere più di 12 anni e non aver paura dei cani. L'altezza alla spalla è circa 55 cm.

Cera and her brother Petrie were found on the street, without a microchip, but they were not in a bad condition, so they surely have not been on the streets for long. We think that someone's uncastrated dog ended up having a litter of puppies, in the beginning they were cute and maybe the family enjoyed having the puppies around, but then they got big and not so cute anymore. Another very similar young dog was found some days later in the same area, so we think there was at least 3 of them. Cera and her brother Petrie joined different groups of dogs in the shelter, as Petrie is a softer boy, and Cera a more fierce female, who benefits more from a group with adult leader dogs. Cera is a young black Shephard mix, a high energy teenager, who is now in a social group with other dogs to learn from them, as we quickly noticed she is lacking of social skills, and is scared of other dogs when meeting and interacting with them, and not knowing how to communicate, she then barked at other dogs. She is now settled in this group, and continues to meet new dogs to improve her socialisation and boundaries. She is growing into a well-educated girl. As any shepherd puppy, she is a little alligator, but she is learning to listen, and respect dogs and people. Cera learns incredibly fast and enjoys training and being taught new things. She is looking for a human, who is very interested in dog training, obedience, agility, group training sessions. When we let her off leash in our enclosed areas, she runs and runs to let all her energy out, and loves when other dogs chase her. She also loves to climb on agility obstacles, and would really love to engage in dog sports, to release her energy in a positive and productive direction. When her trainer took her out for the day, she behaved very nicely in the car, she sat in the transport box chewing her treat without a sound, and walked very nicely on the leash. She remained very connected with her and listened really well even though she was in a new enviroment with many dogs. She just needs a confident and quite experienced person, or a human who wishes to learn their way into the dog-world with Cera by her side. For Cera, we are looking for a home with experienced dog owners, who are ready to take this challenge, for some training and to have fun with this lovely girl, you will never be bored with her! A garden would be ideal too. She could be an only dog if she would have regular contact with other dogs (family dogs, training schools, social groups..), or she could join a home where an adult, balanced educator dog is already present. If there are children in the family, then they would have to be over 12 years old and not afraid of dogs. Her shoulder height is approximately 55cm.
