Sono Chance. Ho 5 anni e sono finito al rifugio dopo che il mio periodo al canile è finito. È stato tutto un po' spaventoso e confuso, se devo essere onesto. Sto ancora cercando di capire le cose. Posso essere un po' ansioso in certe situazioni. Ma una volta che mi sento al sicuro, è allora che esce fuori il vero me.Se mi legherò a te, lo saprai. Ho il sedere più scodinzolante e la coda più felice che tu abbia mai visto, pronto a salutare le mie persone preferite. Adoro le coccole e l'attenzione. Carezze delicate, parole gentili, stare vicini... è il mio linguaggio d'amore. Sono un animo dolce e gentile che vuole solo sentirsi al sicuro e amato.Ho bisogno di qualcuno paziente e comprensivo che mi aiuti a costruire la mia fiducia al mio ritmo. A volte sono un po' insicuro. Con rassicurazione ed esperienze positive, fiorirò davvero.Ho anche bisogno di un po' di supporto con la socializzazione con altri cani. Sono un po' timoroso con gli altri cani adesso, quindi introduzioni lente e un continuo addestramento positivo mi aiuteranno a capire che non devo preoccuparmi.In cambio, prometto di essere il compagno più dolce e fedele che tu possa desiderare. Potrei impiegare un po' di tempo per trovare il mio coraggio, ma quando lo farò, avrai un amico per la vita.Se hai un cuore gentile e un po' di pazienza da spendere, mi piacerebbe conoscerti. Hi, I’m Chance!I’m 5 years old, and I’ve been waiting for my special someone for quite a while now. I’m not really sure why... because if you ask my friends here, they’ll tell you I’m an absolute lover boy. I LOVE people. Seriously. If there’s fuss on offer, I’m there! I’ll greet my favourite humans with my huge, wide-mouthed smile, a wagging tail and a bum that wiggles so much it practically has a mind of its own.I’m a very happy, affectionate boy with a huge heart. When I love someone, I love them hard. I’m incredibly loyal to my people and there’s nothing I enjoy more than being close to you, soaking up attention and reminding you just how pleased I am that you exist.I’ve come such a long way since I first arrived in rescue. I can sometimes be a little unsure when meeting other dogs, so I’m still working on my doggy social skills with my friends at the centre. And guess what? I’m doing really well! With sensible introductions, continued positive training and someone willing to give me a little time and patience, everyone here thinks I can keep making brilliant progress.But please don’t let that one little thing make you overlook everything else I have to offer.Because really, I’m just a big-hearted sweetheart looking for someone to adore.
