Chief has a gentle heart and a large body that loves to stay close to you. He enjoys a good cuddle and spontaneously seeks out contact with his people. Sometimes he suddenly becomes very enthusiastic, even daring to jump up—simply because he likes you so much! With clear boundaries and consistent guidance, he quickly learns what is and isn't allowed. On walks, especially in a quiet environment, Chief is very well-behaved and doesn't pull on the leash.

Chief heeft een zacht hart en een groot lijf dat het liefst dicht bij je staat. Hij komt graag even knuffelen en zoekt spontaan contact met zijn mensen. Hij kan soms ineens heel enthousiast worden, waardoor hij durft opspringen, gewoon omdat hij je zó leuk vindt. Met duidelijke grenzen en consequente begeleiding leert hij snel wat wel en niet mag. Op wandeling, zeker in een rustige omgeving, is Chief heel braaf en trekt hij niet aan de lijn.
