CHULA (PPP)** **5-year-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier** As Chula is classed as a PPP in Spain, her adopter would need to apply for a licence. The process is straightforward, and we will happily help every step of the way. If she is adopted to most other European countries, including the UK, this licence is **not** required. When Chula came to us earlier this year, she was painfully thin, frightened and unable to use her back legs. Whether her injuries were caused by cruelty or an accident, we'll probably never know. What we did know was that she had lost hope. She hardly interacted with anyone and seemed to have simply given up. But kindness has a wonderful way of reaching even the most broken hearts. Little by little, Chula realised she was safe. She began to eat again. She started looking for people instead of avoiding them. Then came the determination that has amazed us all. With a support sling and lots of encouragement, she took her first tiny walks. One step became two. Two became ten. Before long, she was walking without support. Every day she grew a little stronger, and every walk was met with smiles and disbelief at how far she had come. Today, Chula walks proudly on all four paws. She is a gentle, quiet and beautifully behaved girl who enjoys her walks and is relaxed around other dogs. More importantly, she has found the courage to trust people again. Now it's time for the next chapter. Chula doesn't need a perfect family. She simply needs kind people who will treasure the incredible dog she is. People who understand that love can heal, that patience changes lives, and that every single day with her is a gift. **She has already done the hardest part.
