Coco è una dolce Lurcher di cinque anni attualmente nel nostro programma Homestay a causa di un cambiamento nelle circostanze del suo proprietario. È una ragazza dolce, affettuosa e orientata alle persone che forma forti legami con chi conosce. Curiosa per natura, Coco ama esplorare al suo ritmo tranquillo e affronta le nuove esperienze in modo riflessivo, rilassandosi presto e cercando conforto attraverso coccole o premi. Adora abbracciare il divano o il letto, apprezzando le attività di arricchimento e realmente si sente bene con interazioni calme e positive. Con le persone a cui si fida, è fedele, amabile e molto dolce. Coco è completamente addestrata in casa. Ha sopportato bene essere lasciata per lunghi periodi senza alcun comportamento distruttivo o vocalizzazioni. Nella sua nuova casa, orari più brevi di lascio o una certa flessibilità rispetto al tempo trascorso da sola la aiuterebbero a sentirsi ancora più sicura e stabile. Coco viaggia bene in auto e è felice seduta sul sedile posteriore, dove spesso si rilassa o dorme durante il tragitto. Requisiti per la casa: Coco si sentirà bene in una casa calma e prevedibile, idealmente in un'area più tranquilla o rurale. Le piace l'esercizio rilassato e strutturato e beneficia delle opportunità di rilassamento, per sentirsi stabile e sicura. Una casa attiva è assolutamente benvenuta, purché l'enrichment si concentri sulla qualità e non sull'intensità. Può vivere felicemente con bambini adolescenti, in età secondaria, che sono abituati ai cani e in grado di seguire le indicazioni. Coco ha vissuto con successo con adolescenti e è dolce e tollerante con i bambini che conosce, godendo di interazioni calme e ben gestite. Potrebbe potenzialmente vivere con bambini in età primaria, a condizione di incontri riusciti al centro. Coco cerca un padrone fisicamente forte e sicuro che sia impegnato a continuare il suo addestramento e a costruire la sua fiducia durante le passeggiate, specialmente intorno ad altri cani. Coco is a lovely five‑year‑old Lurcher currently in our Homestay scheme due to a change in her owner’s circumstances. She is a sweet, affectionate, and people‑focused girl who forms strong bonds with those she knows. Naturally curious, Coco enjoys exploring at her own gentle pace and approaches new experiences thoughtfully, soon relaxing and seeking reassurance through fuss or treats. She adores cuddles on the sofa or bed, enjoys enrichment activities, and truly thrives on calm, positive interaction. With her trusted people, she is loyal, loving, and beautifully gentle. Coco is fully housetrained. She has previously coped well with being left for long periods without any destructive behaviour or vocalising. In her future home, shorter leaving hours or some flexibility around time alone would help her feel even more secure and settled. Coco travels well in the car and is happiest settled on the back seat, where she often relaxes or sleeps throughout the journey. Coco will thrive in a calm, predictable home, ideally in a quieter or more rural area. She enjoys relaxed, structured exercise and benefits from opportunities to decompress, helping her feel settled and secure. An active home is absolutely welcome, as long as enrichment focuses on quality rather than intensity. She can happily live with older, secondary‑school‑aged children who are confident with dogs and able to follow guidance. Coco has previously lived successfully with teenagers and is gentle and tolerant with children she knows, enjoying calm, well‑managed interactions. She could potentially live with primary school-aged children, pending successful meets at the centre. Coco is looking for a physically strong, confident handler who is committed to continuing her training and building her confidence on walks, particularly around other dogs. A private garden or access to quiet outdoor spaces would be ideal, along with limited leaving hours to support her wellbeing. Coco needs to be the only pet in the home. While she has mixed well with known dogs in controlled settings, a pet‑free household will give her the best chance to relax, feel safe, and truly flourish.
