Sta cercando una nuova casa a causa di un cambiamento nelle circostanze familiari. Cooper è buono con gli altri cani e gode della compagnia canina. Non si preoccupa dei gatti, anche se non ha mai convissuto con uno. È amichevole con i bambini ma non ha mai vissuto con loro, quindi qualsiasi introduzione dovrebbe essere sensata e supervisionata. COOPER SHROPSHIRE Adoption fee for Cooper is £450 3 years old Male, red dapple smooth mini Not neutered Cooper is a very loving mini dachshund who urgently needs to move to a forever home due to changes in circumstances in his current home. He is a stunning boy with an usual combination of one blue and one brown eye. He loves nothing more than cuddles and his favourite place is on a kind human’s lap! Cooper would love to live in a family where someone is around much of the time. At the moment he is left on his own for extended periods and has become quite barky as a result. This is typical of the breed – they love to be with people and with the right training and support (which we will provide if needed) he will quickly learn that being on his own is not a time to exercise his lungs. Outside the home, Cooper is a smart boy who likes to chase his ball, especially his scooby balls. His favourite thing is a rabbit ear, and his current owner says he knows the word and even the spelling, so he’s one smart dog! Cooper has grown up with older children and is a friendly, well-socialised dog. He could even live with a cat. Cooper is in good health, but is currently recovering from an episode of IVDD. The Red Foundation will support with medical costs for as long as this is an issue, and will discuss with potential adopters. He is making great progress and is now walking and is house-trained. Unfortunately, IVDD is always a risk with dachshunds but he has shown determination to recover and we will support him all the way.
