05-06-26 Daffodil is a very sweet Maltichon who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a tiny, active little girl with a lovely playful side. Daffodil enjoys spending time with her kennel friends and loves joining in with games and play sessions. Although she is not yet confident enough to approach us on her own, she is easy to handle once caught and is gradually learning that people are nothing to be afraid of. Daffodil gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. As Daffodil has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she adjusts to a completely new environment and gains confidence in the world around her. She can live with older dog savvy teens who are sensible and respect her space. A calm and predictable home will help her feel safe and allow her confidence to grow at her own pace. Daffodil is a little bundle of fun with a gentle nature and a playful spirit. With the support of a canine friend and a patient family, we hope she will blossom into a wonderful companion and enjoy everything that home life has to offer. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
