Sweet senior lady Daisy came to us already a while ago together with 2 other dogs - Koldo & Juan. She is the oldest of the group, and some say also the sweetest, but we're not taking sides here! Daisy loves to be with her humans, and becomes really playful and affectionate when she is around her favourite people, the puppy in her comes out and she rolls on the floor, inviting everyone to play. Most of the time of the day however Daisy is very calm and low maintenance, she is just looking for a human to spend the rest of her time with, and a soft warm bed for her old, tired bones. Just lately Daisy has started to have pain, which most likely is from osteoarthritis in her old hips and elbows, and the weather is changing now to colder and wet - the wet cement floors of the shelter is not a suitable place for such a kind, loving, soft old lady like Daisy. She walks very well on the leash, whether alone or together with other dogs, and in the dogpark she is independant, sniffs around and then comes back to you quietly. She is also good with educated children, and makes families feel comfortable in her presence. Daisy could move to a home without other dogs or she could join also a family with other social dogs present, preferably not extremely active, jumpy dogs, to give her body a break. Her shoulder height is 61cm, and Daisy really wants to go home..... who knows how much longer she has left, to know love and care.
