Adottare Dave

Presentiamo il nostro bellissimo ragazzo Dave, che è con noi da un po' di tempo. Purtroppo Dave è arrivato da noi in uno stato triste, aveva legamenti strappati nella gamba e non riusciva a camminare correttamente. Il team ha subito iniziato a lavorare e si è deciso che aveva bisogno di un intervento importante per risolvere questo problema, poiché un'asportazione della gamba avrebbe messo troppa pressione sulle altre articolazioni. Grazie al tuo fundraising Dave è stato in grado di sottoporsi all'intervento! Quando è arrivato dal veterinario hanno scoperto che aveva una vecchia frattura nella stessa gamba che si era riparata da sola. Siamo devastati che Dave abbia dovuto passare attraverso tutto questo e soffrire ma fortunatamente è nelle mani giuste e ora è sulla sua strada per la guarigione. Dave è un ragazzo molto dolce, ha occhi veramente da cucciolo e ti fissarà fino a quando non gli darai delle grattatine sulla pancia. Adora i suoi giocattoli imbottiti (soprattutto il suo orsacchiotto leone) e li porterà in giro con orgoglio! Può essere un po' timido di fronte a movimenti veloci all'inizio ma una volta che si fida di te si calma e apprezza un bel coccolone. Al momento stiamo cercando una casa senza animali per Dave mentre si riprende, fare una grande operazione è difficile per un cane e Dave si sente un po' dolorante - per evitare qualsiasi conflitto e aiutare Dave a recuperare completamente stiamo cercando questa cosa. Questo non significa che non possa avere un fratellino cane in futuro o amici a casa dopo la guarigione! Dave ha un lungo viaggio davanti, avrà bisogno di una casa per adulti soltanto con poco rumore. Manca di fiducia quindi un posto dove crescere al suo ritmo con persone tranquille è qualcosa che è benefico per lui.

Introducing our gorgeous boy Dave , who has been with us for a while now. Unfortunately Dave arrived with us in a sad state, he had torn ligaments in his leg and was unable to walk properly . The team kicked into action and it was decided that he needed major surgery to fix this as a leg amputation will have put too much pressure on his other joints . Thanks to your fundraising Dave has been able to have his operation! When he arrived at the vets they also realised that he had an old fracture in the same leg that had healed itself. We are devastated that Dave had to go through this and be in pain but luckily he is in good hands and is now on his road to recovery. Dave is such a loving boy, he has proper puppy dog eyes and will stare into your sole until you give him some belly scratches. He absolutely loves his stuffed toys (especially his lion teddy) and will carry them around proudly! He can be a little nervous of quick movements initially but once he trusts you he settles down and enjoys a good fuss . At the moment we are looking for a pet free home for Dave whilst he recovers , having a major surgery is tough on a dog and Dave is feeling a little sore – so to avoid any conflicts and help Dave recover fully we are looking for this. This is not to say he cannot have a doggie sibling in the future or have friends over post recovery ! Dave has a long journey a head of him, he will require a quiet adult only home with minimal disruption. He lacks confidence so a place to grow at his own pace with calm humans is something that is beneficial for him.
