Il piccolo cane nella foto è un maschio, circa 15 chilogrammi e di età 6-7 anni. È stato abbandonato due volte entro 20 giorni. Prima dai suoi proprietari che si sono trasferiti in un'altra zona lasciando indietro una povera creatura sola, che girovagava affamata in un campo e poi, per la seconda volta, è stato abbandonato ferito in mezzo alla strada da un autista che non si è preoccupato di controllare se l'animale che aveva investito fosse ancora vivo. L'ho trovato a tremare, coperto di sangue sulla strada e mentre soffriva, ha permesso a me di portarlo in auto e portarlo dal veterinario. Una parte della sua gamba era rimasta sull'asfalto e il resto pendeva da un pezzo di pelle. La sua ferita aveva un cattivo odore e il veterinario non poteva procedere con l'amputazione prima di verificare l'infezione. Per tre giorni non ha mangiato niente e abbiamo dovuto aprire leggermente la sua bocca per dargli da mangiare in modo che i farmaci e gli antidolorifici non danneggiassero lo stomaco. Fortunatamente l'intervento è andato molto bene e ora, anche se continua a prendere antibiotici (fino al 27 novembre), è molto vivace, corre con gli altri cani e sembra non provare alcun dolore. Ha l'appetito, gioca, ma soprattutto sembra chiedere abbracci e amore. Speriamo che venga trovata una casa amorosa per lui, che gli dia tutto ciò che merita... merita questo!

Το σκυλάκι στη φωτογραφία είναι αρσενικό, περίπου 15 κιλά και ηλικίας 6-7 ετών. Εγκαταλείφθηκε δύο φορές. σε διάστημα 20 ημερών. Πρώτα από τους ιδιοκτήτες του που μετακόμισαν αφήνοντας πίσω ένα πλασματάκι μονάχο να τριγυρνά πεινασμένο σε ένα χωράφι και μετά, για δεύτερη φορά εγκαταλείφθηκε τραυματισμένο στη μέση του δρόμου από οδηγό αυτοκινήτου που δεν ενδιαφέρθηκε να μάθει αν το ζώο που χτύπησε ήταν ακόμη ζωντανό. Τον βρήκα να σπαρταρά αιμόφυρτο στο δρόμο και ενώ πονούσε, και του ήμουνα και τελείως άγνωστη με άφησε να τον σηκώσω και να τον μεταφέρω στον γιατρό. Ένα κομμάτι από το πόδι του έμενε στην άσφαλτο και το υπόλοιπο κρεμόταν σα λωρίδα από το γοφό του. Η πληγή του μύριζε άσχημα και ο γιατρός δεν μπορούσε να προχωρήσει στον ακρωτηριασμό αν πρώτα δεν έλεγχε την μόλυνση. Για τρεις μέρες δεν έτρωγε τίποτα και του ανοίγαμε το στόμα για λίγη τροφή για να μη πειράξουν το στομάχι του τα φάρμακα και τα παυσίπονα. Ευτυχώς, η εγχείρηση πήγε πολύ καλά και τώρα αν και συνεχίζει να παίρνει αντιβίωση (μέχρι τις 27-Νοεμβρίου) είναι πολύ δραστήριος, τρέχει με τα υπόλοιπα σκυλιά και φαίνεται να μη πονάει καθόλου. Έχει διάθεση για φαγητό , για παιχνίδι αλλά περισσότερο δείχνει να θέλει αγάπη και χάδια. Ας ελπίσουμε πως θα βρεθεί ένα σπιτικό που θα του τα εξασφαλίσει όλα αυτά …του αξίζουν! The poor doggie in the photo is a boy, about 15 kilos and 6-7 years old. He was abandoned twice within 20 days. And then, for a second time, by the driver who hit him and left him on the road without any help…. I found him on the road in terrible pain and full in blood and while he was so much suffering, he let me take him in my car and to the vet. One part of his leg was left on the road and the rest was hanging from a strip of skin. His wound was smelling badly and the vet could not proceed with circumcision if the infection was not firstly controlled. For three days he was not eating anything and we were forcing him to open his mouth for a little bit of food and his medicine. Fortunately the surgery went very well and now, even though he continues with his antibiotics, is very lively, runs with the other dogs and seems that he is not in pain. He has an appetite, he plays, but most of all he seems to plead for hugs and love. Let us hope that a loving home will be found for him providing what he deserves for ….
