Elmo came to the UK in 2021 to live with his brother, but despite the best efforts of his adopters, sadly the two brothers would fight. So Elmo was surrendered in December 2025 and is currently in kennels near Wisbech, East Anglia.We are looking for a quiet home for Elmo because he’sa nervous boy who cannot be rushed. He will take time to trust you. He is not aggressive, he will just shy away from you, so we are looking for a foster / foster with a view to adopt / adopter who will work with Elmo to build his confidence and his experience of life. But they must go at his pace and be able to understand his need for reassurance. Elmo would be best as an only dog, unless you are within travelling distance of the kennels and have one or two gentle, quiet dogs that could meet Elmo a couple of times before taking him home. He is untested with cats and children, so any children would need to be older and understand the importance of giving Elmo space. A garden is a must for him to enjoy some outdoor time and relaxed play. Elmo is fully vaccinated and neutered.
