Il suo viaggio non è stato facile, ma il suo spirito rimane brillante e pieno di affetto. Prima di arrivare in sicurezza, viveva per strada dove il nipote di Alina la nutriva regolarmente. Purtroppo, è stata catturata e portata in un rifugio che uccide gli animali. Allora era incinta e è stata sterilizzata pochi giorni prima che dovesse dare alla luce. Nonostante tutto ciò che ha subito, Mercy accoglie ogni nuovo giorno e ogni nuova persona con calore ed entusiasmo. A circa 1,5 anni e 23 kg, Mercy è un bellissimo cane giovane, pieno di energia e personalità. È sempre tra i primi a salutare i visitatori al cancello, con la coda che si muove, sperando per attenzione e affetto. Le piacciono le persone e si sente bene quando ha compagnia, quindi una casa attiva con qualcuno presente per gran parte della giornata sarebbe perfetta per lei. Mercy preferirebbe essere l'unico cane in casa, poiché può essere un po' un disubbidiente con altri cani e spesso abbaia loro nei recinti. Tuttavia, potrebbe ancora godere di conoscere cani amichevoli fuori una volta che si sentirà sicura. È buona con i gatti e può vivere con i bambini, sebbene i più grandi siano migliori poiché può essere un po' saltellante quando eccitata. Non è ancora brava con la guinzaglio, quindi la sua nuova famiglia dovrà avere pazienza e volontà di aiutarla a imparare a suo modo. Con tempo, gentilezza e costanza, Mercy diventerà un meraviglioso compagno.

Her journey hasn’t been easy, but her spirit remains bright and full of affection. Before coming to safety, she lived on the streets where Alina’s nephew fed her regularly. Sadly, she was eventually caught and taken to a kill shelter. She was pregnant at the time and was spayed just days before she was due to give birth. Despite everything she has endured, Mercy greets every new day - and every new person - with warmth and enthusiasm. At around 1.5 years old and 23kg, Mercy is a gorgeous young dog with bags of energy and personality. She is always one of the first to greet visitors at the gate, tail wagging, hoping for attention and affection. She loves people and thrives when she has company, so an active home with someone around for much of the day would suit her perfectly. Mercy would prefer to be the only dog in the home, as she can be a bit of a troublemaker with other dogs and often barks at them in their pens. That said, she may still enjoy meeting friendly dogs out and about once she feels secure. She is good with cats and can live with children, though older ones would be best as she can be a little jumpy when excited. She isn’t good on a lead yet, so her new family will need patience and willingness to help her learn at her own pace. With time, kindness, and consistency, Mercy will become a wonderful companion.
