FELI, a feline, has not always found comfort in human touch. Today, her acceptance of it tells a story of small steps and earned trust. When she arrived at our shelter, she was very afraid of people and other dogs. The world around her seemed full of things to be feared, and approaching them required time. Since February 2023, FELI has been in the care of No Limit Pets. She entered our Dog Rehabilitation Centre Ringo Land Romania program, where she received support to gradually discover that interactions can have a different meaning. Her progress was built slowly, through repeated meetings, patience, and respecting her own pace. Today, FELI knows how to walk on a leash, allows herself to be petted, and gets along with other dogs. For someone who sees her for the first time, these may seem like ordinary things. For her, they are important steps. They are the difference between living in fear and starting to allow new experiences with people. We are moved by this change because we know where she started. And we want her journey to continue in a family that understands her story. A home where she is not rushed, where closeness develops naturally, and where her small successes are noticed and valued. The fact that she has made progress in the shelter does not mean that moving to a home will be without emotions. FELI will need a gradual adaptation, a predictable routine, and patient people willing to respect her limits. We are looking for a family prepared to continue what she started in rehabilitation, with kindness and appropriate support, without expecting everything to happen on the first day. You can follow photos and videos from the rehabilitation process in the FELI 5226 and SARAH 5232 shared album, published on the Dog Rehabilitation Centre Ringo Land Romania page. It is an invitation to look beyond a single photo and discover the steps that brought her here.
