Se qualcuno ha qualcosa da dire sul naso di Fontas, è chiaramente ingiusto. È la lente della macchina fotografica che lo fa sembrare un po'... beh... generoso in dimensione. Perché il naso di Fontas è bellissimo, come tutto il resto di lui. E se guardi con attenzione, noterai una meravigliosa simmetria tra il suo naso e le sue orecchie. La storia di Fontas è una storia nota. Non la sappiamo con certezza, ma possiamo indovinare: un cane da caccia che non ha svolto "correttamente" il suo compito e che è stato abbandonato al suo destino. Più tardi è stato catturato, per essere abbandonato nuovamente nel canile municipale di Krestena, legato, affamato e scheletrico. Finché la sua fortuna non è finalmente cambiata e lui è arrivato nel nostro rifugio. Fontas è un gran carattere. Dignitoso, equilibrato e sicuro. Anche se è un cane da caccia, non è inquieto o nervoso. Ha energia ed entusiasmo, ma sa gestirli. Vuole annusare ogni cosa, ma non si blocca su un odore o insiste a seguirlo a qualsiasi costo. È socievole e apprezzato il contatto con le persone. È paziente, disposto a collaborare e desideroso di imparare. Si intende bene anche con gli altri cani. Se sei un vero ammiratore del naso e delle orecchie di un cane e se cerchi un compagno con cui camminare e godersi la natura, il sole e l'outdoor, allora Fontas potrebbe essere il cane perfetto per te.

If anyone has anything to say about Fontas’s nose, they are clearly being unfair. It is the camera lens that makes it look somewhat… well… generous in size. Because Fontas’s nose is beautiful, just like the rest of him. And if you look closely, you will notice a wonderful symmetry between his nose and his ears. Fontas’s story is a familiar one. We do not know it for certain, but we can guess: a hunting dog who did not perform “properly” and was abandoned to his fate. Later he was caught, only to be abandoned again at the municipal kennel of Krestena, tied up, hungry and skeletal. Until his luck finally changed and he came to our shelter. Fontas is a great character. Dignified, balanced and steady. Although he is a hunting dog, he is not restless or nervous. He has energy and enthusiasm, but he knows how to manage them. He wants to sniff everything, yet he does not get stuck on a scent or insist on following it no matter what. He is social and enjoys contact with people. He is patient, willing to cooperate and eager to learn. He also gets along well with other dogs. If you are a true admirer of a dog’s nose and ears, and if you are looking for a companion to walk with and enjoy the outdoors, the sun and nature, then Fontas might be the perfect dog for you.
