Meet George, a beautiful 7 month old retriever who came into us recently due to allergies in the home. He is a friendly and lively pup who just wants all the attention and loves nothing more than getting out to explore the world around him. George has just been diagnosed with being completely blind in his left eye. He has some further testing, but he may need the eye removed down the line. Because of this, he would need someone that is okay to go on this medical journey with him. Due to the loss of sight, he can get startled if you approach him on his left side, and can be food possessive as he can only see on his right. Because of this, he would be best rehomed to a home with dog-savvy children who are 13+. George will require all aspects of puppy training within the home so and would benefit with puppy classes.
