Adottare Gloria

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel · Femmina · Giovane · 3 anni

16-07-26 Gloria came to us from a breeder and, shortly after arriving, we discovered she was pregnant. She went on to have seven beautiful puppies and has been the most wonderful mum to them all. Now that her puppies are old enough to find their own forever homes, it's finally Gloria's turn to find hers. Gloria is a loving, affectionate girl who absolutely adores people. She has formed very strong bonds with her carers here and is always happiest when she's close to them. If she could choose, she'd spend all day by your side, soaking up attention and being involved in everything you're doing. Because Gloria is such a people-orientated girl, she is looking for a home where there are at least two people and someone is around for most of the day. She becomes distressed when separated from the people she loves and has even been known to cry and try to find them if left behind. Her new family will need to understand that she is likely to need time and support to learn that being left for short periods is okay, gradually building up her confidence at her own pace. Gloria would be happy living with another kind and friendly resident dog, but it's the company of her people that she values most. She could also live with sensible, dog-savvy teenagers who will enjoy including her in family life. Having never lived in a home before, Gloria will still need help learning about house training and all the routines of family life, but she's a bright girl who enjoys being involved and is eager to learn. She will need a very secure garden with non-climbable fencing of at least 6ft, as she has shown us she can be a bit of a Dora the Explorer when she's trying to find her favourite people! She has never attempted to escape when she's with her carers, but if she thinks they've disappeared, she can become very determined to go looking for them, making secure boundaries absolutely essential. Gloria is also an active girl who loves getting out and about. She has done brilliantly learning to walk on a lead and would love a family who enjoy plenty of walks, adventures and including her in their daily lives. After spending the last few months devoted to raising her seven puppies, it's finally Gloria's turn to be someone's baby. She deserves a family who will love, cherish and spoil her, and we can't wait to see this wonderful girl enjoying the happy life she so deserves. Gloria has had two teeth removed and a pea-sized cyst on her mammary gland drained during her spay. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
