Hank è un incrocio Bulldog e Staffy maturo che certamente non è un pigroncello! Questo ragazzone ha l'energia di una batteria ricaricabile, non smette mai di andare. È completamente pazzo per la palla e giocherà felicemente per ore, portando orgogliosamente il suo pallone ovunque vada. Hank è entrato nel nostro affidamento quando i suoi precedenti proprietari non sono più riusciti a tenerlo. Nonostante questo cambiamento, ama veramente la vita ed è uno dei ragazzi più felici e vivaci che si possa conoscere. A volte può diventare un po' sopraffatto dall'eccitazione e potrebbe passare attraverso una fase di accoppiamento quando le situazioni sembrano troppo stimolanti. Questo è stato il suo modo di gestire, ma da quando è stato castrato sta già facendo grandi progressi imparando a superare questo comportamento. Durante le passeggiate, Hank può essere un po' forte con la guinzaglio all'inizio a causa dell'eccitazione, ma di solito si calma entro pochi minuti e cammina bellamente una volta calmato. La buona notizia è che è molto motivato dal cibo, il che aiuta nel suo addestramento e nella sua concentrazione. Con guida continua, sta già mostrando grandi potenzialità. Una delle cose preferite di Hank è uscire in auto. Adora esplorare nuovi posti con i suoi accompagnatori - le ultime avventure hanno incluso annusare barche, visitare Pets at Home (giocattoli, snack e persino alcuni pick-a-mix furtivi!), e gustare snack di pollo deliziosi a Grangemoor. È affascinato dai pesci, incontra nuovi amici ovunque vada e prova persino i suoi migliori "tremolii del sedere" per conquistare tutti quelli che incontra 🤫💛. Dopo tutta questa eccitazione, ama un abbraccio in macchina prima di tornare a casa per pranzo e un pisolino - miglior giorno mai! Hank ama anche il suo giardino, dove può girovagare, inseguire la sua palla e godersi una bella sessione di gioco prima di girare e osservare tutto. Cerca una casa divertente e attiva con proprietari positivi e impegnati che amano uscire. Avrà bisogno di addestramento continuo, struttura e arricchimento per aiutarlo a crescere nel migliore dei modi - insieme a tanti giocattoli e, naturalmente, palle! Hank potrebbe convivere con bambini di età 14+ che sono esperti con i cani e sicuri con i bulldog. Potrebbe anche poter convivere con un cane femmina tranquillo dopo introduzioni riuscite e potenzialmente gatti esperti con i cani. Hank ha una grande personalità che porterà risate, energia e avventura nella giusta casa.

Hank is a 5 year old Bulldog x Staffy mix with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome lad is full of life and certainly isn’t a couch potato! He loves his walks, adores playing with his football, and is always happiest when he’s out having fun with his favourite people. Hank came into our care through no fault of his own when his previous owners could no longer keep him. Despite this change, he has remained a happy, affectionate, and enthusiastic boy who loves making friends wherever he goes. One of Hank’s best qualities is his fantastic social skills. He takes most things in his stride, isn’t bothered by much, and enjoys meeting new people. He is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than a fuss, especially a good bum scratch, which is guaranteed to get his tail wagging! Like many excitable dogs, Hank can sometimes become a little over enthusiastic when life gets very exciting. Since being neutered, he has made great progress and continues to mature with consistent guidance and support. Hank can be strong on the lead for the first few minutes of a walk while he burns off some excitement, but he soon settles and enjoys exploring the world around him. He is very food motivated, making him a willing and enjoyable training companion. A keen traveller, Hank loves hopping into the car and heading off on adventures. Whether he’s exploring new places, meeting new friends, investigating interesting smells, or enjoying a tasty treat, he approaches everything with enthusiasm. After a busy outing, he’s more than happy to enjoy a cuddle before heading home for a well earned nap. Hank also enjoys spending time in the garden, where he can potter about, chase his football, and relax in the fresh air. He is looking for an active, committed home that will continue his training, provide plenty of enrichment, and include him in life’s adventures. In return, Hank will offer loyalty, laughter, affection, and endless entertainment. Hank may be able to live with dog savvy children of an appropriate age, subject to successful introductions at the centre. He could also potentially live with a calm neutered female dog following successful introductions and may be able to share his home with confident, dog savvy cats. If you’re looking for a fun loving companion with a zest for life, a love of adventure, and plenty of affection to give, Hank could be the perfect match.
