Adottare Jack and Daniel

Jack (chocolate) e Daniel (lilac) sono due ragazzi giovani, di circa 1-2 anni, che hanno già visto molto più del mondo di quanto dovessero. Sono stati abbandonati. Lasciati indietro. Dimenticati. Quando sono arrivati da noi, il loro stato raccontava una storia che nessun cane dovrebbe vivere. Negligenti, doloranti e bisognosi di cure urgenti, entrambi i ragazzi hanno richiesto trattamenti veterinari, tra cui un intervento per la grave cheratite bilaterale. Jack si sta riprendendo bene, mentre Daniel è ancora in attesa del suo prossimo intervento. Hanno anche bisogno di bagni medicinali per alleviare la pelle, le orecchie e le pieghe facciali pulite e le unghie – alcune dolorosamente troppo lunghe e incorporate – trattate con cura. Eppure… nonostante tutto… sono solo amore. Dopo tutto il trauma che hanno vissuto, questi ragazzi non chiedono molto. Solo gentilezza. Solo pazienza. Solo qualcuno che finalmente mostri loro cosa si prova ad essere al sicuro. Stanno imparando il mondo per la prima volta – come camminare, esplorare, semplicemente essere cani. Tutto è nuovo e lo accettano dolcemente, a loro modo. Jack e Daniel cercano una casa tranquilla e comprensiva. Una casa con persone che daranno loro il tempo che non hanno mai avuto. Persone che non sono orgogliose della casa, che capiscono che gli incidenti possono succedere e che questi ragazzi iniziano la vita da zero. Hanno bisogno di qualcuno in casa la maggior parte del tempo, impegnato a aiutarli a crescere nella fiducia e a continuare il loro percorso. Le lezioni di addestramento sarebbero un ottimo modo per aiutarli a costruire fiducia e imparare nuove competenze. Potrebbero convivere con bambini rispettosi e gatti esperti, con presentazioni attente. Ma soprattutto… devono rimanere insieme. Hanno affrontato tutto insieme e il loro legame è indissolubile. Sono il conforto l'uno dell'altro, la loro sicurezza, la loro costante. Ora hanno solo bisogno di qualcuno che sia così per loro. Due inizi rotti… che sperano in un meraviglioso futuro. L'esperienza della razza brachicefala sarebbe fantastica. Saremmo felici che i ragazzi restino insieme ma considereremmo di separarli se necessario.

Jack (chocolate) and Daniel (lilac) are a young pair of boys, around 1–2 years old, who have already seen far more of the world than they ever should have. They were dumped. Left behind. Forgotten. When they arrived with us, their condition told a story no dog should have to live through. Neglected, sore, and in need of urgent care, both boys required veterinary treatment, including surgery for painful double cherry eye. Jack is now healing well, while Daniel is still waiting for his next surgery. They also needed medicated baths to soothe their skin, their ears and facial folds cleaned, and their nails—some painfully overgrown and embedded—carefully treated. And yet… despite everything… they are nothing but love. With all the trauma they’ve been through, these boys don’t ask for much. Just kindness. Just patience. Just someone to finally show them what it feels like to be safe. They are learning the world for the first time—how to walk, how to explore, how to simply be dogs. Everything is new, and they take it all in gently, at their own pace. Jack and Daniel are looking for a calm, understanding home. A home with people who will give them the time they’ve never had. People who aren’t house-proud, who understand accidents may happen, and that these boys are starting life from scratch. They need someone home most of the time, committed to helping them grow in confidence and continue their journey. Training classes would be a wonderful way to help them build trust and learn new skills. They may be able to live with respectful children and dog-savvy cats, with careful introductions. But most importantly… they need to stay together. They have been through everything side by side, and their bond is unbreakable. They are each other’s comfort, their safety, their constant. Now they just need someone to be that for them too. Two broken beginnings… hoping for one beautiful forever. Experience of the brachycephalic breed would be a wonderful. We would love for boys to stay together but would consider separating them if needed.
