Hiena è stata trovata in giro per le strade da sola in un'area lontana, e quando è stata prima catturata, è stata portata alla perrera El Paraiso... Aveva un microchip quindi l'proprietario è stato contattato, ma non voleva più Hiena e l'ha data in adozione al rifugio. Hiena è arrivata da noi molto stressata, confusa e sopra ogni cosa - in calore. Hiena è una piccola potente confezione di amore verso gli umani, che è sempre eccitata all'idea di fare una passeggiata con te. Dopo un'avventura attiva, ama rannicchiarsi con i volontari, salire sulle loro gambe, baciare i loro volti e ricevere grattini sul sedere. I nostri volontari amano Hiena, è così affettuosa con gli umani, tanta dolcezza da dare. Hiena salta facilmente in auto e velocemente, all'inizio la raccomandiamo di viaggiare in una scatola, perché è così entusiasta di uscire, ma anche un buon spuntino per masticare per tenerla impegnata sarà utile. Essendo proveniente da una casa, anche se non da una buona casa, probabilmente conosce cose quotidiane umane come le auto e vivere in un ambiente domestico. Hiena è molto pronta per andare nella sua casa per sempre, e il suo sogno di una famiglia sarebbe una famiglia di umani attivi che piace fare passeggiate e escursioni in natura o anche per le strade della città, che amano prendere Hiena con sé. Idealmente la sua famiglia avrebbe esperienza precedente, e conoscenza del linguaggio corporeo di un cane nel socializzazione canina, o la motivazione a iscriversi a corsi di addestramento per cani/gruppo. Hiena non apprezzia essere affrontata da ogni cane in strada, e spera che il suo umano difenda il suo desiderio di spazio personale durante le passeggiate e gli incontri con i cani. Durante i primi giorni e settimane, era molto reattiva nei confronti degli altri cani, inizialmente dallo stress, ma anche dall'essere in calore. Ora cammina tranquillamente accanto a molti cani, occupata a fiutare l'erba, e a volte saluta maschi amichevoli non minacciosi. Hiena non ama gli altri cani dominanti con un approccio minaccioso, lei è una donna di comando. Come i cani tipo Staffy, ha l'energia di un piccolo bulldozer, a volte saltella come una palla distruttrice, quindi riguardo ai bambini in casa, dovrebbero avere più di 12 anni. Hiena è una piccola ragazza, con un'altezza di spalle di 49 cm.

Hiena was found wandering the streets alone in an area far away, and as she was first caught, she was brought to perrera El Paraiso... She had a microchip so the owner was contacted, but he did not want Hiena anymore and signed her over to the shelter. Hiena arrived to us very stressed, confused and on top of everything - in heat. Hiena is a human-loving compact power package, who is always excited to go for a walk with you. After an active adventure, she loves to snuggle with volunteers, climb on their laps, kiss their faces, and receive butt rubs. Our volunteers love Hiena, she is so affectionate towards humans, so much love to give. Hiena jumps into the car easily and quickly, at first we recommend her to travel in a box, because she is so excited to go out, but also a good chewing snack to keep her busy will be helpful. As she is coming from a home, even though not from a good home, she still most probably knows daily human things like cars and living in a house environment. Hiena is very ready to go to her forever home, and her hear dream of a family would be active humans who like to go for walks and hikes in the nature or also on town streets, who love to take Hiena with them. Ideally her family would have previous experience, and either the knowledge of reading a dog's body language in canine socialisations, or the motivation to enroll in dog training/group training sessions. Hiena does not enjoy being approached by every dog on the street, and she is hoping that her human will advocate her wish for more personal space on walks and dog meetings. During her first days and weeks, she was quite reactive towards other dogs, firstly from the stress, but also from being in heat. Now she walks past most dogs calmly, being busy sniffing the grass, and sometimes she says hi to friendly non-threatening males. Hiena just does not like other dominant dogs with a threatening approach, she is a boss lady herself. As staffy-types of dogs usually are, she has the energy of a small bulldozer, sometimes jumping around like a wrecking ball, so regarding children in a home, they should be above 12 years old. Hiena is a small girl, with just 49cm shoulder height.
