Iole, undici anni, proviene da uno dei nostri progetti di sterilizzazione. È stata prelevata dalla sua colonia perché, a causa dell'età, non aveva più un buon posto nella gerarchia e sembrava un po' vulnerabile. Infatti, il suo test FIV è risultato positivo: Iole è un gatto FIV positivo. Ora è seduta nella sua gabbia: un vecchio gatto nero FIV positivo.

Die elfjährige Iole kommt aus einem unserer Kastrationsprojekte . Sie wurde aus ihrer Kolonie genommen, da sie wegen ihres Alters dort keinen guten Platz mehr in der Hierarchie hatte und etwas anfällig wirkte. Tatsächlich ergab der Test auf FIV ein positives Ergebnis – Iole ist Trägerin des Katzenaids-Virus. Da sitzt sie nun in ihrem Käfig – eine alte, FIV-positive und auch noch schwarze Katze.
