Krissy, ha avuto una vita terribile prima che la salvassimo. È stata picchiata, tenuta in un capanno e costretta a fare cucciolate, per poi essere abbandonata solo poche ore prima del parto. L'abbiamo accolta d'urgenza per garantire la sicurezza sua e dei suoi cuccioli. Nel giro di poche ore dal suo arrivo è entrata in travaglio e ha partorito i cuccioli. Purtroppo, essendo Krissy estremamente stressata e in cattive condizioni, non è stata in grado di prendersi cura di loro, quindi ne abbiamo assunto completamente la cura e li abbiamo allevati a mano. Così Krissy ha potuto riprendersi dagli abusi subiti senza ulteriori pressioni. Krissy ha presto capito di essere davvero al sicuro: viene nutrita, amata, rispettata e curata per la sua terribile situazione della pelle. Ora Krissy appare in splendida salute e felice! Krissy vorrebbe trovare una casa per sempre. Dovrebbe essere sterilizzata nelle prossime settimane e, dopo la ripresa, potrà essere adottata; nel frattempo ci piacerebbe avere già pronta per lei una casa perfetta in attesa del suo arrivo. Krissy ha problemi di fiducia nei confronti degli uomini: va nel panico più totale, trema, scappa, si agita e non riesce nemmeno a guardare negli occhi. Sappiamo che è stato un uomo a maltrattarla, quindi non è una sorpresa, tuttavia con le donne si sente molto più a suo agio: va d'accordo con tutte noi ragazze qui ed è estremamente affettuosa. Krissy avrà bisogno di una casa speciale, una casa con una donna... Non la metteremo e non la metteremo mai in una situazione che le causi stress. Non sarebbe giusto. Krissy è fantastica nel gioco e adora i giocattoli!! Più ce ne sono, meglio è: passerebbe ore a giocare con voi, a farsi lanciare le palline e a guardarla correre. È velocissima quando esce per la sua corsa libera e il suo musetto si illumina di gioia! L'altra cosa preferita di Krissy è il cibo! Il cibo è vita per lei: non riesce proprio a farsene una ragione del fatto che venga nutrita ogni singolo giorno, e i premietti... oh, sono i migliori in assoluto! Krissy avrà bisogno di una casa con un giardino recintato, sicuro e di buone dimensioni; la casa dovrà essere piuttosto isolata, così non dovrà camminare in zone trafficate, cosa che non sopporterebbe... troppe persone, troppo stress per Krissy. Krissy starebbe meglio come unico cane, dato che, per quanto ne sappiamo, non ha mai condiviso il suo spazio con un altro cane (a parte quando è stata costretta a riprodursi). Il punto è che, per Krissy, quando ha la sua persona, quella persona rappresenta la sua sicurezza: merita di avere tutto per sé, e siamo convinti che sarà molto più felice potendo avere tutti i giocattoli del mondo tutti per sé! Krissy avrà bisogno di un adottante esperto, di un ambiente tranquillo e rilassato, senza pressioni, di una casa in cui possa affrontare ogni giorno alla volta, imparare che il suo nuovo ambiente è sicuro e tutto suo. Krissy è una ragazza adorabile che non ha mai meritato tutto ciò che ha dovuto subire, ma il suo futuro compenserà tutto questo: la sua speciale casa sicura è là fuori, da qualche parte. Krissy, she has had such an awful life until we saved her. She has been beaten, kept in a shed, forced into pregnancy then discarded just hours before she was due to give birth. We took Krissy in as an emergency to ensure her and her puppies safety. Within hours of arriving she went into labour and delivered her puppies. Sadly with Krissy being extremely stressed, poor condition she was unable to care for her puppies, we took over the care fully and hand reared them. This meant Krissy could recover from her abuse without any added pressure. Krissy soon realised that she was indeed safe, she was being fed, loved, respected and treated for her awful skin. Krissy is now looking super healthy and happy! Krissy would love to find her forever home, she is due to be spayed in the next few weeks then after recovery she will be able to be adopted, until then we would love to have her perfect home lined up waiting for her. Krissy does have trust issues, with men. She goes into absolute fear, shakes, runs, trembles and can’t even make eye contact, we know it was a man who abused her mainly so this is not a surprise, however with women she is much for comfortable, she gets on with all us ladies here and is super loving, Krissy is going to need a special home, a home with a lady… We do not and won’t not put her in a situation that is going to cause her stress. It’s not fair. Krissy is super with her playing, she absolutely loves toys!! More the better and she would spend hours playing with you throwing her balls, watching her run. She is super fast when she comes out for her free running and her little face just beams! The other favourite thing of krissys is food! Food is life, she just can’t get over that she’s fed every single day, and treats.. oh they are just the best! Krissy is going to need a home with good sized secure garden, her home is going to have to be pretty rural so she doesn’t have to walk out in busy areas, she wouldn’t cope with that.. too many people too much stress for Krissy. Krissy would be best as an only dog as she has never shared her space with another as far as we are aware ( apart from when she was forced to breed) the thing is with Krissy when she has her person then that person is her safety, she deserves to have that all to herself and we believe she will be much happier as she can have all the toys in the world all to herself! Krissy is going to need an experienced adopter, an adopter with a calm, chilled environment with no pressure, a home where she can take every day at a time, learn that her new environment is safe and all hers. Krissy is such a lovely girl who never deserved all she has had to endure but her future is going to make up for that, her special safe home will be out there somewhere.
