Originally from a Persian breeding in Hungary, he was adopted by a Romanian family for a time. But they could no longer keep him due to a cat hair allergy. Kurkuma was passed on, and the next family had to give him up because he had a severe gum disease that required all his teeth to be removed – the family didn’t want to pay for the costs. So we took him in, and he moved into our cat apartment. We are now putting everything we have into finding Kurkuma a forever home where he can find his dog bed for life! You can tell he’s always lived indoors and knows people. He’s a real cuddler who loves people and wants to be stroked at any time. Generally, Kurkuma is a laid-back, more mellow tomcat who just wants to relax 🙂 But he also doesn’t mind playing occasionally. In short, Kurkuma is a tomcat in his prime with a great personality that fits almost any family. In our cat apartment, he immediately got along well with all the cats, but he also shows no great interest in them. Kurkuma lived as a singleton from a young age, so there’s nothing against his new life either. However, we assume that his people will have enough time for him. We also only place Kurkuma as a pure indoor cat, as he has never lived any other way. He has everything he needs 🙂 Kurkuma is breed-specifically affected by brachycephaly, which shows corresponding symptoms and may require treatment in the future. After 6 years, Kurkuma finally wants to settle down! Do you have a spot for him? Kurkuma can now start his journey to his new home and, like all our cats and toms, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. He was tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Seine Geschichte: Der arme Kurkuma hatte noch nie eine echte Familie. Ursprünglich stammt er aus eine Perser-Züchtung aus Ungarn und wurde von einer rumänischen Familie adoptiert. Hier lebte einige Zeit, bis man ihn wegen einer Tierhaarallergie nicht mehr halten konnte. Kurkuma wurde weitergegeben und die nächste Familie gab ihn letztendlich ab, weil er eine starke Zahnfleischentzündung hatte, wegen welcher alle Zähne gezogen werden mussten – diese Kosten wollte die Familie nicht tragen. Also nahmen wir uns ihm an und er zog in unsere Katzenwohnung ein. Wir geben jetzt alles, dass er sein Körbchen auf Lebenszeit findet! Man merkt ihm an, dass er von klein auf drinnen gelebt hat und Menschen kennt. Er ist ein richtiger Schnurrer, der Menschen liebt und sich zu jeder Zeit streicheln lassen möchte. Grundsätzlich ist Kurkuma ein gemütlicher, ruhigerer Kater, der einfach nur relaxen will 🙂 Gegen gelegentliches Spielen hat er aber auch nichts. Er ist, kurz gesagt, ein Kater in bestem Alter mit einem tollen Wesen, das so ziemlich in jede Familie passt. In unserer Katzenwohnung versteht er sich von Anfang an mit allen Katzen sehr gut, zeigt aber auch kein großes Interesse an ihnen. Kurkuma lebte von klein auf als Einzelprinz, wogegen also auch für das neue Leben nichts spricht. Hier setzen wir jedoch voraus, dass seine Menschen ausreichend Zeit für ihn haben. Auch vermitteln wir Kurkuma ausschließlich als reine Wohnungskatze, da er bisher nie anders gelebt hat. Hier fehlt es ihm an nichts 🙂 Rassebedingt leidet Kurkuma an Brachyzephalie, was entsprechende Symptome zeigt und in Zukunft ggf. an Behandlung bedarf. Nach 6 Jahren möchte Kurkuma endlich ankommen! Hast du ein Plätzchen für ihn frei? Kurkuma kann ab sofort seine Reise in sein neues Zuhause antreten und ist, wie all unsere Katzen und Kater, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Er wurde negativ auf FIV und FeLV getestet. Einen EU-Heimtierausweis bringt er ebenfalls mit. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in Höhe von 250 Euro kann er in sein neues Zuhause ziehen. Vielen Dank Maria M.!
