Una famiglia salvata dall'pericolo Lauda aveva circa quattro anni quando è arrivata da noi, madre di sei cuccioli. Le abbiamo dato il nome in onore della leggendaria Niki Lauda - ma anche perché era semplicemente una magnifica cagnetta. Erano stati trovati in giro per strada e inizialmente solo tre dei suoi cuccioli sono stati portati al rifugio. Uno di loro, Șumi, era già stato gravemente ferito ed è ora uno dei nostri cani paralizzati. Ma grazie alle cure del nostro team e al supporto dei partner di Speranța, la famiglia si è presto riunita. La madre e tutti e sei i suoi cuccioli erano nuovamente insieme: una corsa contro il tempo, veloce e senza fiato, proprio come una gara di Formula 1. Per loro, il soccorso significava sicurezza, la possibilità di rimanere una famiglia e l'inizio di una storia che ci sorprenderà tutti. Calma, pazienza e una madre straordinaria Dolce, calma e estremamente equilibrata, Lauda era una madre devota - emozionalmente stabile e saggia grazie alle lezioni della vita. Proteggeva i suoi cuccioli, li teneva vicini e era una fonte di forza persino per i più vulnerabili. Li ha cresciuti, li ha visti adottati uno per uno e solo allora si è concessa di cercare la sua felicità - esattamente come fa una vera madre. Fino al suo ultimo trasferimento in una casa tutta per lei, Lauda ha partecipato al programma Messaggeri di Speranza, ricevendo visite regolari da parte di coloro che sarebbero diventati la sua nuova famiglia - visite che le davano gioia, rassicurazione e speranza. La grande gara: la vita in casa Dopo una stagione difficile, con un recinto del rifugio invece del podio, Lauda ha finalmente ottenuto la pole position nella gara che veramente conta: la vita in casa. An entire family pulled out of danger Lauda was around four years old when she arrived with us, the mother of six puppies. We chose her name after the legendary Niki Lauda—but also because she was, quite simply, a magnificent dog. They were found wandering by the roadside, and at first only three of her puppies were brought into the shelter. One of them, Șumi, had already been severely injured and is now one of our paraplegic dogs. But thanks to the care of our team and the support of Speranța’s partners, the family was soon reunited. The mother and all six of her puppies were together again—a race against time, fast-paced and breathless, just like a Formula 1 race. For them, rescue meant safety, the chance to remain a family, and the beginning of a story that would surprise us all. Calm, patience, and an extraordinary mother Gentle, calm, and incredibly balanced, Lauda was a devoted mother—emotionally steady and wise from life’s lessons. She protected her puppies, kept them close, and was a source of strength even for the most vulnerable among them. She raised them, watched them being adopted one by one, and only then allowed herself to search for her own happiness—just as a true mother does. Until her final move to a home of her own, Lauda took part in the Messengers of Hope programme, receiving regular visits from those who would become her new family—visits that brought her joy, reassurance, and hope. The greatest race: life at home After a tough season, with a shelter kennel instead of a podium, Lauda finally took pole position in the race that truly matters—life at home. Carla and her family chose her not because she is perfect, but because she is real: mature, patient, incredibly kind. Lauda is the kind of dog who asks for little, but gives so much.
