Tutti conoscete Lily ❤️ Lily è un'ascia di circa 11 anni che purtroppo non ha avuto una vita facile recentemente. Quando è arrivata da noi, era in condizioni piuttosto cattive. Il suo pelo è in molto pessime condizioni, le sue zampe erano estremamente doloranti e i suoi denti sono in condizione cronica. È prenotata questa settimana per un'intera visita dentistica e vedremo dove andremo da lì. Nonostante tutto, Lily è un'anima dolcissima e gentile. Ha tutte le tipiche meravigliose caratteristiche dei cani da corsa — dolce, tranquillo, affettuoso — ma in qualche modo ancora più bello perché è un po' più vecchia. Lily adora molto il suo letto e si raggomitola felicemente per un sonnellino, ma ama anche le sue passeggiate e trotta come un piccolo pony da sfilata con la coda che si muove dietro di lei. Lily ha ancora un forte interesse per i gatti, quindi non può vivere con loro, ma oltre a questo è semplicemente una bella ragazza più anziana che merita qualcuno disposto a darle amore, conforto e la possibilità che forse non ha mai realmente avuto. I cani più anziani vengono spesso trascurati, ma Lily è veramente qualcosa di speciale 🐾

Everyone meet Lily ❤️ Lily is an approximately 11-year-old ex-racing greyhound who sadly hasn’t had an easy time recently. When she arrived with us, she was in pretty poor condition. Her coat is in very bad shape, her feet were extremely sore, and her teeth are sadly in chronic condition. She is booked in this week for a full dental, and we’ll see where we go from there. Despite everything, Lily is the softest, sweetest soul. She has all the typical wonderful sight hound traits — gentle, quiet, affectionate — but somehow even lovelier because she’s that little bit older. She absolutely adores her bed and will happily curl up for a snooze, but she also loves her walks and trots along like a little show pony with her tail wagging away behind her. Lily still has a strong interest in cats, so she cannot live with them, but aside from that she is simply a beautiful older girl who deserves somebody willing to give her the love, comfort, and chance she has perhaps never truly had. Older dogs are so often overlooked, but Lily really is something special 🐾
