Breed: Siberian Husky Età: 1 Anno circa Loki è un bellissimo Husky che è arrivato da noi per il reinserimento, per nessuna colpa sua... purtroppo, da quando l'ha preso come cucciolo, le condizioni della sua precedente famiglia sono cambiate, quindi Loki veniva lasciato solo per fino a 12 ore al giorno! Purtroppo i cartoni in TV non erano abbastanza, così è diventato distruttivo e vocalizzato. Loki è molto amichevole e affettuoso con le persone... ama la vita e gli piace stare in movimento! È socievole con tutti quelli che incontra e ha trascorso tempo con bambini - può essere vivace, quindi i bambini in una nuova casa devono essere abituati ai cani. Essendo un Husky, Loki avrà bisogno di molta esercitazione e stimolazione mentale... è una razza creata per lavorare, quindi non sarà un cane che sta fermo sul divano contento di una passeggiata veloce intorno all'isolato! Il suo richiamo è scarso (tipico per un Husky), quindi il tempo senza guinzaglio dovrà essere in un giardino sicuro o in un recinto sicuro per cani. Ovviamente non è un fan di essere lasciato solo, anche se il precedente proprietario ha riferito che era bravo a rimanere solo per 3 ore inizialmente. Consigliamo di aumentare gradualmente il tempo solo, in modo che lui lo veda come un'esperienza positiva.

Breed: Siberian Husky Age: 1 Year 6 Months Approx Loki is a very handsome Husky who came to us for rehoming through no fault of his own… sadly since getting him as a puppy, his previous owners circumstances changed meaning that Loki was being left alone for up to 12hrs a day! Unfortunately the cartoons on the TV weren’t cutting it, so he became destructive and vocal. Loki is very friendly and affectionate with people… he loves life and likes to be on the go! He’s sociable with everybody he meets and has spent time with children – he can be boisterous though, so any children in the new home would need to be used to dogs. As he’s a Husky, Loki will need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation… he’s a breed that was designed for working, so he’s not going to be a couch potato content with a quick walk around the block! His recall is poor (typical for a Husky), so off lead time would need to be in a secure garden or a secure dog exercise paddock. Obviously he isn’t a fan of being left alone, although his previous owner reported that he was good at being left for 3hrs initially. We would recommend time alone being built up over time, so he see’s it as a positive experience.
