Despite being a beautiful female dog with five months, she should have been full of confidence, conquering the world and filling hearts with cuddles. But her fate had other plans: Lotta was born on April 4, 2023, with her siblings Joy, Lara, Henning, and Füxsli on a construction site. The construction workers wanted to kill the puppies on-site, but our helpers were there in time and safely took the little ones in. This was their rescue, and Lotta is growing and thriving, currently measuring 54 cm and weighing 17 kg. And every month, it becomes clearer: Lotta is a soulful dog: She enjoys being close to people and other dogs, relishing every touch, and the more she needs a home that she can call her own. For that, she needs people who are not too demanding at first and can show her the normal dog life with lots of love. Lotta is still a very young female dog and will have to learn a lot more. Therefore, one or another mishap should not be held against her, and she should always be guided with a positive reinforcement training style. A visit to the puppy school can also strengthen the bond and create a beautiful foundation for all the coming happy years. In the first year of life, young dogs should be as little alone as possible. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the little rascals' lives upside down. They "forget" much of what they have learned and their ears are on high alert. Respect, understanding, and care are especially important during this phase. So, the little Lotta will develop into a wonderful everyday companion. Our Lotta is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Hätte Traurigkeit einen Namen – es wäre Lottas. Dabei sollte die hübsche Hündin mit ihren 5 Monaten doch voller Zutrauen die Welt erobern und dazwischen mit vielen Streicheleinheiten ihr Herz füllen. Aber ihr Schicksal meinte es anders: Lotta wurde am 04. April 2023 mit ihren Geschwistern Joy, Lara, Henning und Füxsli auf einer Baustelle geboren. Die Bauarbeiter wollten die Welpen noch vor Ort töten, doch unsere Helfer:innen waren rechtzeitig dort und konnten die Kleinen sicher unterbringen. Das war ihre Rettung und Lotta wächst und gedeiht, aktuell ist sie 54 cm groß und wiegt 17 kg. Und jeden Monat wird deutlicher: Lotta ist ein Seelenhund: Freundlich zu Menschen wie Hunden geniesst sie Nähe wie auch jede Berührung und umso mehr fehlt ein Zuhause, das sie das Ihre nennen kann. Dafür braucht es Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihr erwarten und ihr mit viel Liebe das normale Hundeleben zeigen. Lotta ist noch eine sehr junge Hündin und wird noch viel lernen müssen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihr daher nicht übelnehmen und sie stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Auch ein Besuch in der Junghundeschule kann die Bindung weiter festigen und eine wunderschöne Basis für alle kommenden Glücksjahre schaffen. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten junge Hunde so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Respekt, Verständnis und Fürsorge ist in dieser Phase besonders wichtig. So wird sich auch die kleine Lotta zu einer wunderbaren Alltagsbegleiterin entwickeln. Unsere Lotta ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 450 Euro jederzeit in ihr neues Leben starten.
