Che tipo di ambiente mi si addice? Luigi cerca una casa con un giardino privato e sicuro e una recinzione di almeno 6 piedi. Ama niente più che correre all'aperto, bruciare energia con un giocattolo preferito al seguito... più grande è il giocattolo, meglio è! Avere un giardino sicuro non solo darà a Luigi uno spazio sicuro per giocare e rilassarsi, ma supporterà anche il suo addestramento in corso e gli fornirà del tempo prezioso senza guinzaglio. Incontra Luigi: il nostro grande ragazzo tigrato! Luigi è un giovane ragazzo adorabile che sta ancora imparando le basi e prendendo il mondo una avventura alla volta. Prospera stando vicino alle sue persone e adora andare a passeggiate emozionanti o fare una bella corsa senza guinzaglio in campi sicuri. Questo bel ragazzo ha un debole per i giocattoli, specialmente i grandi orsi di peluche che può portare con orgoglio e con cui giocare da solo. Il gioco di arricchimento fa muovere la sua coda come nient'altro! Luigi spera di trovare una casa con qualcuno che abbia esperienza o sia disposto a ricercare la sua razza, sia paziente, impegnato e pronto a continuare l'addestramento che ha già iniziato. Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Can I be left alone? Yes Luigi has been living in a foster home, where he has settled in well, and can comfortably be left home alone for up to 4 hours. Luigi has also shown great potential to continue developing by building more home alone with the right support and guidance in his new home. Do I have any medical conditions? None Luigi, on occasion, has been seen walking into things and is possibly long-sighted or short-sighted. This is something we’re not concerned with. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, whether historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Luigi can be conflicted when he sees dogs, some he will bark at, others he wants to meet (sometimes too eagerly). He’s responded brilliantly to his training since coming into us and we’ll show you the training we’ve started so it can be continued in his new home. He would prefer to be walked in quieter areas, although there is potential for him to socialise with appropriate dogs in the future. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? As Luigi came to us as a stray, we are unsure whether he has lived with children in a home environment before. With this in mind, along with his size and excitable nature, we would recommend that any children in his new home are aged 13 years or older. Luigi isn’t always sure how to feel when meeting new people. Sometimes he can be a little worried, while at other times he is a bouncy and enthusiastic boy. We are currently working on some training to help him stay calm when greeting people, and he is responding very well. With his favourite people, Luigi is just a big, heavy baby! He is very affectionate and loves attention, often leaning in for fuss and cuddles, especially if there’s a bum rub involved! What type of environment would suit me? Luigi is looking for a home with its own private, secure garden and fencing of at least 6ft. He loves nothing more than zooming around outdoors, burning off energy with a favourite soft toy in tow…… the bigger the toy, the better! Having a secure garden will not only give Luigi a safe space to play and relax, but will also support his ongoing training and provide him with some valuable off lead time. About Luigi Meet Luigi — our big brindle boy! Luigi is a lovable young lad who’s still learning the ropes and taking in the world one adventure at a time. He thrives on being close to his people and absolutely loves heading out for exciting walks or having a good run off-lead in secure fields. This handsome boy has a soft spot for toys, especially giant teddies he can proudly carry around and play with on his own. Enrichment and playtime make his tail wag like nothing else! Luigi is hoping to find a home with someone who has experience or is willing to research his breed, be patient, committed and ready to continue the training he’s already started.
