Hello, I'm Maverick – and my friend Harriet sits next to me. We are both about 8 months old and were found at Fliegerhorst in Wunstorf. At first, it's very difficult for us to trust people. We are extremely shy and anxious and therefore need patient people who give us the time to arrive at our own pace. Even if we might hide and prefer to keep our distance at first, we are loving cats at heart. We just want to learn that people mean well to us. We have already made an important step: we are spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. We get along well with other cats and feel comfortable in the company of fellow cats. Therefore, it would be nice if our new home already had a suitable cat waiting for us. For us, outdoor access is absolutely necessary. We wish a quiet, cat-friendly home with people who enjoy building up our trust very slowly and not pressuring us. We don't necessarily have to be adopted together. So if you feel that one of us is a better fit for you, a separate adoption is also possible.

Hallo, ich bin Maverick – und neben mir sitzt meine Freundin Harriet. Wir sind beide etwa 8 Monate alt und wurden am Fliegerhorst in Wunstorf gefunden. Am Anfang fällt es uns sehr schwer, Menschen zu vertrauen. Wir sind extrem scheu und ängstlich und brauchen deshalb geduldige Menschen, die uns die Zeit geben, in unserem eigenen Tempo anzukommen. Auch wenn wir uns anfangs vielleicht verstecken und lieber Abstand halten, sind wir von Herzen liebe Katzen. Wir möchten einfach lernen, dass Menschen es gut mit uns meinen. Mittlerweile haben wir schon einen wichtigen Schritt geschafft: Wir sind kastriert, gechipt und geimpft. Mit anderen Katzen verstehen wir uns gut und fühlen uns in Gesellschaft von Artgenossen wohl. Deshalb wäre es schön, wenn in unserem neuen Zuhause bereits eine passende Katze auf uns wartet. Für uns ist Freigang unbedingt notwendig. Wir wünschen uns ein ruhiges, katzengerechtes Zuhause mit Menschen, die Freude daran haben, unser Vertrauen ganz langsam aufzubauen und uns nicht bedrängen. Wir müssen übrigens nicht zwingend gemeinsam vermittelt werden. Wenn ihr also das Gefühl habt, dass einer von uns besser zu euch passt, ist auch eine getrennte
