A story about Kashmir, who saw how beautiful the world is and felt how cruel it can be, and Merino, who was a bit luckier and kept one eye. The story is banal. A person, seemingly with good intentions, fed a colony, but that was the end of their care - they didn't care what happened next when the person left, because they didn't understand that caring also means taking care that the colony doesn't breed and that no new, unnecessary animals are born. Very quickly, kittens were born. And then - like in a bad director's script: viruses, diseases, and people "helped" by trying to treat them their own way... As a result, when we met the kittens, their eyes were already beyond saving.

Kašmiram, kurš savā dzīvē redzēja, cik skaista ir šī pasaule, un izjuta, cik nežēlīga tā var būt, zaudējot šo iespēju – redzēt, un māsiņai Merino, kurai paveicās nedaudz vairāk un viņai palika viena actiņa. Stāsts ir banāls. Cilvēks, it kā labu gribēdams, baroja koloniju, bet ar to rūpes beidzās – kas notiek tālāk, kad cilvēks pabarojot aiziet – viņu neuztrauca, jo cilvēkam nebija saprašanās, ka rūpēties nozīmē arī parūpēties, lai kolonija nevairojas un nedzimst jauni, nevienam nevajadzīgi dzīvnieki. Ļoti ātri piedzima kaķēni. Un tālāk – kā sliktā režisora scenārijā: vīrusi, slimības, un vēl cilvēki “palīdzēja”, mēģinot ārstēt pa savam… Rezultātā, kad mēs kaķēnus satikām, actiņas jau bija neglābjamas.
