tomcat Michel was found unneutered and unchipped – unfortunately, no one was missing him. A fate that, unfortunately, all too often shows the consequences of human irresponsibility. Nevertheless, Michel is an incredibly lovable and people-oriented young tomcat who greatly enjoys the company of his humans. He is friendly, open, and delights in attention and companionship. However, life on the streets has left its mark: Since Michel was unneutered and out in the open, it is likely that he engaged in territory disputes with other tomcats, which led to his infection with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV-positive cats can often enjoy many happy years with good care and a stress-free life, but they require people who are willing to deal with the condition responsibly. For Michel, we are therefore searching for a loving home that is suitable for apartment living, ideally with a secured balcony. It is also important that his future humans understand what an FIV-positive cat needs: a stable environment, regular health checks, and as little stress as possible. As Michel is still young and very much enjoys company, it would be nice if he did not have to spend the whole day alone. Cat-savvy children are certainly no problem for the friendly tomcat. Despite everything, Michel has not lost his trust in humans – now he just needs a home where he will finally be taken care of properly.

Kater Michel wurde unkastriert und ungechippt gefunden – vermisst hat ihn leider niemand. Ein Schicksal, das leider viel zu oft die Folgen menschlicher Unverantwortlichkeit zeigt. Dabei ist Michel ein unglaublich liebenswerter und menschenbezogener junger Kater, der die Nähe zu seinen Menschen sehr genießt. Er ist freundlich, offen und freut sich über Aufmerksamkeit und Gesellschaft. Doch das Leben auf der Straße hat Spuren hinterlassen: Weil Michel unkastriert draußen unterwegs war, kam es vermutlich zu Revierkämpfen mit anderen Katern, bei denen er sich mit FIV (Katzenaids) infiziert hat. FIV-positive Katzen können – mit guter Pflege und einem stressfreien Leben – oft viele schöne Jahre verbringen, benötigen aber Menschen, die sich mit der Erkrankung auseinandersetzen und verantwortungsvoll damit umgehen. Für Michel suchen wir daher ein liebevolles Zuhause in reiner Wohnungshaltung, idealerweise mit gesichertem Balkon. Wichtig ist außerdem, dass seine zukünftigen Menschen wissen, was eine FIV-positive Katze braucht: ein stabiles Umfeld, regelmäßige Gesundheitskontrollen und möglichst wenig Stress. Da Michel noch jung ist und sehr gerne Gesellschaft hat, wäre es schön, wenn er nicht den ganzen Tag alleine bleiben müsste. Katzengeübte Kinder sind für den freundlichen Kater sicherlich kein Problem. Michel hat trotz allem sein Vertrauen in Menschen nicht verloren – jetzt fehlt ihm nur noch ein Zuhause, in dem endlich gut auf ihn aufgepasst wird. 🐾
