Muffinka is waiting for her very first real home. For about five years, Muffinka lived in abandoned garages and gave birth to litters of kittens there at least once a year. Over the years, her homelessness grew before everyone’s eyes—though it could have been prevented. A volunteer came across Muffinka and her tiny kittens just in the nick of time. Thanks to this, her story finally took a turn for the better. Because Muffinka isn’t a feral cat. She’s an incredibly people-friendly, sensitive little cat. She loves being petted; she immediately starts purring loudly and rubs against people. At the sight of a treat pouch, she races toward it with all her might, and she’s already perfectly familiar with the sound of rattling cookies. What melts hearts most is how much Muffinka enjoys a soft bed and quiet surroundings. A peaceful corner and a sense of security—that’s all she needs. Muffinka has already been dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She’s safe now. But she still doesn’t have a home of her own. We’re just a stopover for her—a temporary place from which she should set off to find her forever family. Muffinka is a gorgeous silver tabby with a wonderful personality. She gets along well with other cats. Right now, she’s afraid of dogs—but that could stem from her experiences living outdoors and from her instinct to protect her little ones. Dogs have always been a threat to her. In a calm home, with patient introductions, there’s a chance she’ll learn to trust them. After five years spent in garages, she doesn’t ask for much anymore: just a warm corner, a full bowl of food, and love. A human who’ll never leave her again.

Bo Muffinka nie jest dzikim kotem. To niezwykle proludzka, czuła koteczka. Uwielbia głaskanie, od razu zaczyna głośno mruczeć, ociera się o czlowieka. Na widok saszetki biegnie ile sił w łapkach, a dźwięk potrząsanych ciasteczek zna już doskonale. Najbardziej rozczula to, jak Muffinka rozkoszuje się miękkim legowiskiem, ciszą. Spokojny kąt i poczucie bezpieczeństwa to wszystko czego potrzebuje. Muffinka jest już odrobaczona, zaszczepiona, zaczipowana i wysterylizowana. Jest bezpieczna. Ale wciąż nie ma swojego domu. My jesteśmy dla niej tylko przystankiem. Tymczasowym miejscem, z którego powinna wyruszyć do swojej rodziny. Muffinka to przepiękna szylkretka o cudownym charakterze. Akceptuje inne koty. Psów obecnie się boi, jednak może to wynikać z doświadczeń z życia na wolności i z potrzeby chronienia swoich maluchów. Psy zawsze były dla niej zagrożeniem.
