Mümmel came to us as a found animal at the animal shelter and was not missed. The scruffy guy unfortunately has a small handicap with his right knee. The tendon in his thigh is likely torn due to an early trauma, and the kneecap has popped out. As a result, his lower leg is twisted inward. Our vet doesn’t see the need for an operation at the moment, as Mümmel manages well with it. He uses his right hind leg normally and seems to have no pain. In November, he met his heart’s desire here at the shelter. The two are now only available in a double package ♥️ We are talking about our Nutella. Nutella also came to us as a found animal at the animal shelter and was not missed. It’s still completely unclear why such wonderful animals are not missed… Anyway, she has greatly enriched Mümmel’s life. Nutella underwent an operation in December 2025 and did it well. Unfortunately, her left eye had to be removed. She is generally a bit timid and now has to get used to having one eye. The partnership with Mümmel has still worked well and didn’t take long. Now, the two are looking for a loving home where they have at least 6qm of constant free space. And people who take both rabbits as they are. They are, after all, wonderful!

Mümmel kam als Fundtier zu uns ins Tierheim und wurde nicht vermisst. Der zottelige Kerl hat leider ein kleines Handicap mit seiner rechten Kniescheibe. Die Sehne am Oberschenkel ist vermutlich bei einem frühen Traumata angerissen und die Kniescheibe rausgesprungen. Dadurch ist der Unterschenkelknochen nach innen gedreht. Von einer OP sieht unser Tierarzt aktuell ab, da Mümmel damit gut zurecht kommt. Er nutzt sein rechtes Hinterbein ganz normal mit und scheint keine Schmerzen zu haben. Ein Glück hat er im November hier bei uns seine Herzensdame kennengelernt. Die beiden gibt es nur noch im Doppelpack ♥️ Wir sprechen von unserer Nutella . Nutella kam ebenfalls als Fundtier zu uns ins Tierheim und wurde nicht vermisst . Mal wieder völlig unverständlich , warum solch tolle Tiere nicht vermisst werden … Jedenfalls hat sie Mümmels Leben um ein Vielfaches bereichert . Nutella hat im Dezember 2025 noch eine OP gut überstanden. Denn leider musste ihr ihr linkes Auge entfernt werden. Sie ist generell etwas schreckhaft und muss nun mit einem Auge klar kommen. Die Vergesellschaftung mit Mümmel hat trotzdem gut funktioniert und auch gar nicht so lange gedauert. Nun suchen die Zwei noch ein liebevolles Zuhause in dem sie mindestens 6qm Grundfläche ständig zur freien Verfügung haben . Immer gerne mehr 😉 Und Leute , die beide Kaninchen so nehmen wie sie sind . Sie sind nämlich toll!
