10-05-26 Nana è arrivata da un allevatore e ora sta cercando la sua casa per sempre. È una dolce ragazza che è comprensibilmente molto spaventata e sopraffatta di trovarsi qui. È chiaro che non ha avuto molta manipolazione o socializzazione prima, quindi le mani umane sono molto preoccupanti per lei al momento e è molto nervosa quando viene toccata. Continueremo a supportarla gentilmente per farle capire che le mani umane possono essere dolci. Nana cercherà una casa tranquilla e silenziosa solo per adulti dove potrà adattarsi al suo ritmo. Sarebbe molto utile avere adottatori con esperienza con cani esposti all'allevamento nervosi e che comprendano la pazienza, il tempo e la rassicurazione che avrà bisogno mentre impara a fidarsi. Adora molto gli altri cani e si affida a loro per comfort e rassicurazione, quindi Nana avrà bisogno di almeno un altro cane gentile e sicuro nel suo nuovo ambiente per prendersi cura di lei e aiutarla a sentirsi sicura e al sicuro. Poiché Nana non ha mai vissuto in una casa prima, avrà bisogno di adottatori pazienti che siano gentili e comprensivi mentre impara tutto su vita in casa e nuove competenze come l'addestramento alla pipì. Avrà anche bisogno di imparare tutto sul guinzaglio e sul collare, iniziando a praticare nel giardino mentre costruisce la sua fiducia. Con il tempo, la gentilezza e tante attenzioni, Nana inizierà a lasciarsi alle spalle il passato e a far emergere la sua vera personalità. Nana ha alcuna alopecia ormonale, ma dovrebbe ricrescere una volta che sarà castrata. Ha un piccolo ernia inguinale che è stata valutata dai nostri veterinari e si è deciso di non riparare l'ernia, poiché è troppo piccola. Ha avuto diversi denti rimossi al momento della castrazione. Questo cane può essere adottato con un cane residente.

10-05-26 Nana has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for her forever home. She is a sweet girl who is understandably feeling very scared and overwhelmed to find herself here. It’s clear she hasn’t had much handling or socialisation before, so human hands are quite worrying for her at the moment and she is very nervous of being handled. We will continue gently helping her learn that human hands can be kind. Nana will be looking for a calm and quiet adult only home where she can settle in at her own pace. She would really benefit from adopters who have experience with nervous ex-breeding dogs and who understand the patience, time and reassurance she will need as she learns to trust. She absolutely loves other dogs and relies on them for comfort and reassurance, so Nana will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing and help her feel safe and secure. As Nana has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters who will be kind and understanding as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness, first practicing in the garden as she builds confidence. With time, kindness and plenty of TLC, Nana will begin to leave the past behind her and let her true personality shine through. Nana has some hormonal alopecia, but this should start to grow back once she has been spayed. She has a small inguinal hernia that has been repaired and has had several teeth removed at the time of her spay. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
