Oreo ha iniziato la sua storia per strada. Ultimo ottobre, mentre i nostri volontari visitavano il loro appartamento, hanno notato un ragazzo nero e bianco amichevole che girava nella zona. Dopo averlo visto per alcuni giorni, Alina è stata contattata da qualcuno che lavorava vicino e le ha chiesto aiuto per lui - e fu allora che iniziò veramente il viaggio di Oreo verso la sicurezza. Nonostante avesse chiaramente vissuto un periodo difficile, Oreo mostrò solo amore. Si avvicinò direttamente ai nostri volontari per strada, accettando felicemente le carezze e l'affetto, e anche calmamente permettendo loro di rimuovere molti zecche che coprivano il suo corpo. Mentre alcuni locali lo cacciavano via, Oreo rimase dolce e fiducioso, non perdendo mai la sua natura amichevole. Era stato visto a fiutare delicatamente i gatti locali e a girare insieme a loro, completamente a proprio agio. Ora al rifugio, Oreo continua a dimostrare a tutti quanto sia meraviglioso. Questo bel ragazzo di 30 kg è pieno di affetto e entusiasmo, salta ogni giorno per salutare Alina e suo marito e si becca ogni singola attenzione che riesce a ricevere. Adora veramente le persone e ama stare vicino a chi si prende cura di lui. Oreo sarebbe più felice come unico maschio in casa. Potrebbe vivere con un cane femmina o godersi di essere l'unico cane dove può avere tutta l'attenzione per se stesso. Poiché può essere un po' saltellante quando eccitato, una casa con bambini più grandi sarebbe ideale. Oreo’s story began on the streets. Last October, while our volunteers were visiting their apartment, they noticed a friendly black-and-white boy roaming the area. After seeing him around for a few days, Alina was contacted by someone working nearby who asked for help with him - and that’s when 2 year old Oreo’s journey to safety truly began. Despite clearly having had a tough time, Oreo showed nothing but love. He walked straight up to our volunteers on the street, happily accepting fuss and affection, and even calmly allowed them to remove the many ticks covering his body. While some locals were shooing him away, Oreo remained gentle and trusting, never losing his friendly nature. He was even seen softly sniffing the local cats and wandering around alongside them, completely at ease. Now safe at the shelter, Oreo continues to show everyone just how wonderful he is. This handsome 30kg boy is full of affection and enthusiasm, jumping up daily to greet Alina and her husband and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He truly adores people and loves being close to those who care for him. Oreo would be happiest as the only male dog in the home. He could live with a female dog or enjoy being an only dog where he can have all the attention to himself. Because he can be a bit jumpy when excited, a home with older children would be best.
