01-10-26 Parker is a nervous boy who has come to us from a breeder. He is fine to handle but can be very unsure and will often try to hide away when he is approached. He is trying so hard to be brave, and we are sure that with the right person willing to take a chance on him, he will slowly learn that he has nothing to be afraid of. Parker will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in his new home who can take him under their wing and show him the ropes. Having a friendly dog around will help him to feel more secure and give him someone to lean on as he settles into his new life. Parker has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be kind and patient as he learns all about home life, including house training and walking on a lead. These things may take some time, and his adopters will need to understand that he will need to progress at his own pace without being rushed. He can live with older, dog-savvy teens aged 13+ who are sensible. Parker is a nervous boy at the moment, but underneath that uncertainty is a lovely boy who is trying his very best. With time, patience and a loving home willing to give him a chance, we hope to see Parker blossom into the wonderful companion we know he can be. Parker has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
